My little one is currently attending , he loves to go and learn,I can feel his joy of going to school and learn more and more I can't thank them enough for all the great work they do in a daily bases keeping our kids number one safe Number two engage happy and learning at the same time. Highly recommend UBM but it's true is not for everybody :) you need to be committed with your self and your kids. And wanting for your kids to have a great structure ..... Great choice

Upward Bound Montessori (UBM) is a wonderful place to start early childhood education! If you look…read morefor a school that is calming, full of personal attention, and focusing on whole child development, I highly recommend this school. UBM is a family-oriented school. Mr. Patrick and Ms. Lei are always very calm when they receive children in the morning and release them in the afternoon no matter how stressful the transition is for the child or parent(s). School leadership and the guides are highly reachable and responsive to parents' requests. Their focus on development of the children shows in their guides. They have stable lead guides and focus on their Montessori education, certification, and continued development. Our son started in UBM when he was 21 months old and graduated when he was five and a half years old; he only had two lead guides, one for pre-primary and one for primary. UBM focuses on whole child development and parent education. Let's face it, as parents we're not all experts in child development, and UBM is there to help us. They conduct multiple workshops each semester to educate parents about child development and Montessori education. This includes recommending various parenting books to refine parental styles to better work with their children at home, especially to understand and have a more peaceful time while their children are going through the "terrible 2's." We are able to have constructive conversation with our lead guide, Ms. Sandy, and head of the school, Ms. Lei, to get advice on how to best work with our son. We found great value in their wisdom for understanding children and teaching us how to properly recognize and respond to their needs. UBM provides a solid and strong academic education in language, art, math, geography, etc. We observed our son's academic progress over the years and are very impressed on what he has learned at UBM, most importantly his ability to think and solve problems. As any true Montessori program should deliver, the practical education he received at UBM is a solid foundation for life. As part of their focus on the whole child, Mr. Patrick hand picks excellent enrichment programs in the afternoon such as art, piano, soccer, chess, and dancing. He is particular to ensure each program provides value to the children, as the old adage goes that you should be getting what you're paying for. If you want your children to have a solid academic and behavior foundation before you send them to elementary schools, we highly recommend UBM.

You see dedication and passion in every single teacher and staff member, example set by owner and director Ms. Sue who is a sweat person, great educator and professional. We are both happy and sad at the same time now that our son is going to kindergarten. We are happy for everything this school and teachers mean to us and our son and even happier because we know it will serve well many more kids to come. Special thanks to all teachers and ex teachers who were part of our son's life during his time there.

They truly go above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. My granddaughter is so excited to share what she's learning and is always excited to see her teachers and friends each day. The facility itself is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The classrooms are large, engaging and well-organized. They have creative play, structured learning, and outdoor activities. Round Rock Montessori School is more than just a daycare, it's a place where children thrive, learn, and feel loved. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful preschool/daycare where each child is cherished and grows in every way.

We have gone through all the changes and know they are only bettering the organization. My girls have loved all the teachers they have had in the past with the opportunity to Be taught by them. We love all the office staff as they work hard to better the school community and treat us like family. They are always accommodating. I have a needy child and they still show her the love and support as they did w my first daughter but more. I can't imagine life without their love and support during this hard time the world has gone through but especially with the challenges my family has gone through. Thank you

I am truly saddened by the direction this school has taken The past 4-5 months…read more Since the change in management, I have seen a drastic decline in the overall experience. Many of the long-tenured teachers and administrative staff who had been with the school for 5+ years are no longer there, and the turnover has been very noticeable. The environment and approach feel completely different from what originally made this school such a wonderful place. If you are specifically looking for an authentic Montessori environment, I would strongly encourage you to do your research before enrolling here. Based on my experience, the school no longer reflects the Montessori philosophy and standards that initially attracted us. The changes in staff and classroom approach have been extremely disappointing. There was a child left outside for 10 minutes unattended and footage deleted. I feel horrible for not only the parents but this precious child. I cannot imagine how scary that must've been. There have also been ongoing plumbing issues, including situations where the school has had to shut down because of backed-up toilets in classrooms. We received an $50 for the week. yikes! Over the past six or more months, I have also noticed a persistent mildew/musty and unpleasant smell throughout the school. Unfortunately, the facility simply does not feel as clean or well-maintained as it once did. It genuinely hurts to leave this review because I once had such a positive opinion of this school and would have gladly recommended it. However, the changes over the past several months have been significant, and I can no longer recommend it to other families. I sincerely hope the school addresses the staffing, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall management concerns because there was once something very special here. As things stand today, though, I would recommend families consider other options.
