The idea of this place is great. customer service falls extremely short. the website is also not…read moreclear on the pricing. when we signed up for the Christmas tree painting, my card was charged for what I thought was the full amount. when I called to check, I was informed that it was only charged for half. one tree was the 17 in (50% deposit was $125) and the other was a 9 inch (50% deposit was 47.50). when I questioned why it was so expensive, I was told "we are selling the memories" and that they understood that they are much more expensive than other places. I called back later to cancel my reservation. when the person answered the phone, she immediately stated that she would have her manager call me back because they do not offer refunds. she did not inquire about my name or any information and when I asked, she stated it was on caller ID. that was on 10/31/25. It was not until today (11/4/25) that someone contacted me stating they would not give me a refund. I was also told that they texted me on Friday however I have no message from them. I do understand that they have a "policy" which I would not complain about. however, telling me that you are charging me for memories is absurd. there are several places that offer this for 1/2 the price. I think the situation was handled extremely poor from their perspective. I will not be continuing with the reservation

Everyone was so friendly. So helpful. My friend was picking fabrics for a small wall hanging. This is her first foray into civil war, reproduction fabrics. Caroline was so enthusiastic, it was inspiring to watch. She explained what she was thinking and looking for in her color choices. I bought three kits. I never, ever buy kits. The fun is choosing fabrics, right? But her color sense is beyond belief. I can't wait to get home and start sewing ! I can't wait to go back. Please visit. Physically it kept surprising me, there were more and more tiny rooms stuffed with yarny goodness. There is very creative us of space to put as much fiber as possible into a cosy and welcoming space. There's a good variety of fibers and also a variety of prices. The selection is not huge but it is more than several small stores I have been to. I certainly found more there that I wanted to purchase than I had budgeted for! There is yarn all the way from a good sturdy machine washable Encore to luscious angora and lovely hand dyed sock yarns suitable for envy inspiring socks or shawls. It's on an easy to access main street, with plenty of parking in front as well as next door. There are also several good food options available within walking distance, or a very short drive. I'll certainly return to this friendly and dangerous (to the wallet!!) yarn shop. This machine is a true workhorse compared to my old Singer! It's robust motor powers through my slipcover project with ease. It's like driving a Maserati after owning a Yugo for 33 years! My one and only request would be for more home sewing feet attachments. I'd love to see feed dog covers and a free form quilting foot attachment. I'm "sew" happy with my new Ultrafeed!! I only ever looked at the name and based on that, thought it was an art gallery. At any rate, it is at the time of this writing, in the throes of a retirement sale and there are all sorts of beads and beading supplies and jewellery going at ridiculous prices. And - mirabile dictu - the owner is selling off much of her fabric stock at prices that actually made me feel a little weak at the knees. Get over there while it is still there and be glad I decided to be fiscally prudent while I was in there.
