I got a text from Glen and in our conversation he set a 9 AM appointment. That was it, he didn't show up, didn't answer phone or text. I contacted home serve at least 7 times and on one occasioned (About 2:30 PM) they called him and said they spoke to him and he would call me directly to update me on when he would arrive. He did not call. At 3:30 PM I made my last call of the day to Home serve and canceled the appointment with Foltz and sons and I canceled the cooling contract I had with home serve. I got zero for my money. To this day I think I got very lucky that he did not show up especially after reading the reviews. Yesterday my furnace refused to start so again I called Home serve (I have a heating contract with them) and they set me up with Foltz and sons. I called immediately and told them about the last time and I told them they cannot send him to my house. He is not reliable and I made sure she made a note on my account. They sent my request to Action Mechanical who set my appointment for 2:30 and at 2:15 my technician was here and the problem was solved and with that fix the AC now works too. Again I got lucky the day Foltz and sons did not show up. Just save yourself a shitty day and don't call the man and always refuse Foltz and sons if you use a service like home serve, you can request another company.

Their pricing and billing is beyond understanding. When I questioned their billing I just got another bill for $10K. Horrible service. Never followed through with anything to the end. Never returned communications. Just sent more unanticipated bills and wanted more money to fix their own problems. My system still does not work and they refuse to work on it unless I paid more money. Now I am having to hire one of their competitors to finish. Very unsatisfied in all respects.
