My grandson has taken a handful of different martial arts in the past, but training with Master Kim has been by far the best experience for him for several reasons. First it helps him with his body confidence. No mater what age, tiny tigers who have difficulty punching and teenagers who have a quick change in their body and everything is awkward. Master Kim puts them all at ease in their abilities. Master Kim keeps all students attention. He is so fun for everyone. He helps children with focus, discipline and in my case confidence. My grandson is a student leader. He is more sure of himself in school then he every was, thanks to Master Kim. Before Master Kim he would come home distressed about being picked on at school. Now he is a model example for his teachers and students respect him. There is so much for students to learn. There are endless ways Master Kim mixes it up. Weaponry could be a dojo all to itself. Everything I could ever think of! My grandson has some spectacular nunchaku skills. And he puts on a nice show with a sward. And even though he has only been going for a year he is half way to black belt. At first I did not like that they progressed through the belts so quickly but I see why it works so well. There is always something new they are learning. And the testing they must go through is great! Master Kim does amazing well at pushing them just enough. And the flexibility that we have in the class schedule is perfect.
