I couldn't have been more pleased with the shop, my experience and Charli. Upon entering, Jess greeted me and made me feel welcome. After waiting a few minutes, Charli came out to say hello, talk about my tattoo and gave me her opinion of what to do. She drew the stencil, placed it where we discussed and did her thing. It ended up being beautiful, beyond what I had imagined. She's so incredibly talented and her work is just fabulous. The attention to detail and working the tattoo in with what I already have - perfection. I'm so happy. I booked another appt with her in a few months. If you have any doubts - don't! Book the appt and see her!

That's why I keep going back (we're 10+ tattoos in at this point just with Key City!). Cleanly, friendly, and creative. I often have emailed the owner, Gary, a totally random concept to design. He has knocked it out of the park every time. As an art lover, I am just astounded by the level of creativity in this shop. I am often stopped on the street to ask where I got my tattoos done, and I always tell them Key City is worth the drive no matter where you are in the DMV. I have had two memorial ashes tattoos completed here, and I have been impressed with the professionalism, empathy, and dedication to making these special pieces of art. Their tattooing skill is top notch. Many of my oldest tattoos still look like they were done in the past year. Their aftercare instructions have always been clear and easy to follow. Bottom line. This is the shop to go to in Maryland. You won't be sorry!

I've been to many piercers and Tom is by far the best one. I indubitably trust him to advise my…read morepiercing choice with my health and best interest in mind. I currently have 25 piercings, 21 of which were done by Tom. They are a variety of ear, face, and naval piercings and I will never go to another piercer. Tom's technique, sanitation, and eye for finding aesthetic placement that complements unique anatomy is truly unmatched. I sometimes come in and let him choose my ear piercing's placement because I know he'll do an amazing job. I have never had an issue with the healing process or longevity of Tom's work. Not one of the 21 piercings had issues with rejection, keloids, or an infection of any kind. I follow his care instructions and I truly believe his piercing method and suggested healing strategy is responsible for my piercing's success. He's straightforward about whether he thinks a piercing has longevity or not and if they could cause unintended damage. Tom's top priority is the health of his clients and the quality of his piercings. In the pictures the only piercings Tom didn't do are the 1st and 2nd lode piercings on both sides. I'm not attaching pictures of my facial piercings due to personal saftey preferences. It should be noted that my septum is pierced at a strategic angle that makes it look straight, even though I have a deviated septum; and my eyebrow and nostril piercings are placed in aesthetically idealistic ways for my anatomy.

Then I had to pay an extra 20. So basically was an 80 tat. Then when I started saying something, some other guy that was there jumped in... Showed him my sons tats and said we paid 200 for those he basically said those were shitty. First he should have kept his opinions to himself and mouth shut, to blatantly disrespect someone to their face is so wrong. This guy would never get my business and hope none of you do. I get it I only paid 20 out of pocket for a tat that really should be a $50 tat not 80. I will def have to have it touched up and fixed. It's not about the work, I can get it fixed... it's about the disrespect.. charge what you want that's fine. But keep in mind when you shame others people's work and tats that's what the issue is.
