I was prescribed Physical Therapy at Intermountain's Alta View clinic by my Orthopedist for…read morepersistent plantar fasciitis. He said I couldn't go wrong with their services, but apparently he's never used them himself. I actually liked most of the PTs, as well as the front desk people, but I was given a total of 5 PTs in 6 visits and clearly there was no coordination among them: After my 6th visit, I had over 14 pages (front and back) of exercises to do EVERY DAY!?!?! My plantar fasciitis actually got WORSE going to Alta View, so I quit and got a non-IHC physical therapist with much better results. A year later I got a bill from IHC: For their bad treatment, I was billed over $204 a visit - That's over $1224 of mine that would have been better spent getting flushed down the toilet. I ended up changing my foot surgeon too because it was taking over 3 months to even get a follow up appointment with him. Overall, getting non-IHC care was better and cost far less for me. I do not recommend Alta View PT for foot care.
