At this point, it should be called FIVE & UP! Just like Dollar Tree should be called Dollar Twenty-Five Tree & UP! Now, let's get into THE NICE & THE BRUTAL! THE NICE: First, I have to give a special shoutout to the very nice young man who helped me! I wish I had gotten his name. He wore glasses and had his hair in twists hanging down. He was extremely polite, patient, and helpful. YOU are the reason this location received 4 stars for customer service! I originally came in looking for a Samsung phone holder, but he kindly informed me that they only carried iPhone holders. I said, "WOOOOW!" We both laughed, and I decided to settle for something even better--my adorable HELLO KITTY SLIPPERS! And let me tell you, this store was FULLY STOCKED! Shelves were packed with all kinds of goodies. Whether you're shopping for early Christmas gifts, birthday presents, stocking stuffers, or just treating YOURSELF, there was plenty to choose from! THE BRUTAL: Now, let's talk about the welcome--or should I say, the LACK of one! When my sister and I walked into the store, nobody greeted us. I'm used to shopping at the Five Below in New Hyde Park, where employees actually say, "Welcome to Five Below!" when customers walk in. However, the young lady with the red and black hair at the Westbury location apparently forgot to greet us. What made it noticeable was that she greeted the customers who walked in right behind us! Hmmmm... interesting! A simple hello goes a LONG way in customer service, and EVERY customer deserves the same warm welcome! THE FINAL VERDICT: Despite the rocky entrance, I enjoyed shopping, found my Hello Kitty slippers, and left a happy customer! And I GUARANTEE that once you see these pictures, somebody will be running to Five Below tomorrow to grab early Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, or a little something for themselves! I purchased a Disney Princess Super Activity Kit, which includes 3 sticker sheets, 10 crayons, 2 punch-out characters with stands, 4 posters, and 24-page coloring book. This is a great activity for kids. All the sections in the store were stocked and organized. Five Below is a really affordable place to find what you need on a budget.

I have dealt with the manager Qamar on several occasions and I am always happy to report that he and his co-managers are doing a phenomenal job at this location. They have set restock times and with restocks come raffles for some high value items like cordless vacuums or a Nintendo Switch. The bins to peruse are just a hodge podge of odds and ends that may or may not be useful to you. Today I found a weighted heating pad, scale with BMI calculator, and a Belief cosmetics set. Sometimes you get lucky, other times you don't.
