Commonwealth Adjusters delivered exactly the results they advertised. We were in a situation where…read morea claim was incorrectly settled due to COVID. During the height of COVID, we suffered a partial loss of one of our structures. No adjuster was sent to our property, and the claim was to be paid based on a contractor's estimate. After nearly two years of excuses, it became necessary to replace the contractor. The new contractor's estimate was several times the estimate of the no-show. The insurance company showed no willingness to work things out with the new contractor. So we visited a well-advertised area law firm that looked things over and said they could not help. The only advice we were given was to take what was offered as it had been over a calendar year since the initial claim, No other advice was given. Enter Commonwealth Adjusters. After a phone conversation with Scott and some exchanged documents, he got the ball rolling. After several months of negotiations, Scott turned things around. He turned a $60,000 settlement into a $175,000 settlement. He advised us that our policy entitled us to payment for its contents. This was an item that the insurance claims specialist had stated was not covered. Filing this provided another $25,000 If we had used Commonwealth Adjusters from the beginning, the claim settlement would have been substantially higher. If you believe the insurance company has your back, don't believe them, regardless of what they tell you. Is Commonwealth Adjusters worth the price? Considering that they did what a big law firm couldn't, they are worth twice the price. If I ever have another claim, I'll call them first.

But the amount he got me was WAAAAAAAY more than I expected. I would definitely not hesitate to contact him again, if I ever experience this kind of turmoil in my life again. He even suggested different helping companies to help from cleanout to rebuild. Two thumbs up all the way!

We used Marie Page cleaning service for several months and each time they cleaned our house, it…read moreseemed dirtier that before they cleaned. Each time, the service sent a different person or team. The cleaning people failed to dust the top of our television, clean mirrors, the refrigerator and the inside of the kitchen pantry. They did only light surface cleaning at best and when their cleaning people were here, they spent time talking on their cell phones. They also reeked of cigarette smoke. Marie Page quoted us $85.00 to clean the house, then attempted to bill us at a rate of $126. This is a very unprofessional and unethical company and I would never recommend them. When we cancelled the service and requested that our key be returned, they refused to send it back and we had to change our locks and incur additional expense.

Very knowledgeable, Courteous and informative. They were patient and empathetic. Recommended highly.read more

Terrana Law agreed to handle the closing for my Lake Winola property purchase, but the process was…read morepoorly managed from start to finish. Although they acknowledged that I was unhappy, I never felt they took real ownership of the issues that arose. At the beginning of the process, I contacted Maureen, provided all my information, and left a message asking her to call if anything was needed or if any questions came up. I never received a return call. Because no concerns were communicated to me, I had every reason to believe the closing was moving forward as expected. As a result, I began preparing for the move by packing, shopping for furniture, and arranging painters and cleaners. The situation changed abruptly during the final days before my contract expired. Nancy from Terrana Law became involved, although I was never told why or when that change occurred. Over the last four days, the closing began to unravel due to a series of shifting issues, including: * Difficulty obtaining the necessary figures from the sewer authority * Delays involving the settlement sheet that still had not been completed * A last-minute requirement for IRS sign-off * Notice, just one day before closing, that an appraisal was needed My concerns were not taken seriously, and the lack of professionalism and client care made an already stressful process far more difficult than it should have been. In the end, I lost the opportunity to purchase my dream lake house. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to consider working with a company that values clear communication, accountability, and stronger client support throughout the closing process.

Attorney Patrick J. Aregood is a very bad and corrupt Attorney. He was the attorney that handled…read moremy Aunt's estate. I was one of several beneficiaries of her estate. There was no reading of her will, at least not with me present. Neither he nor the executors of her estate provided me with a copy of her will. I had to go to the Luzerne County Courthouse and pay to get a copy of her will. My Aunt left part of an annuity to me and all the paperwork was sent to the wrong address and I received the paperwork late and had to pay interest on the inheritance tax. My Aunt also left me some HH bonds. Attorney Aregood sent all that paperwork for the HH bonds to an address that does not even exist and I was late receiving it and I had to pay interest on the inheritance tax for the HH bonds. One of the HH bonds is still earning interest and the interest credited to that bond was still going into my deceased Aunt's savings account which the executors have control of and they received the interest instead of me. Attorney Aregood also filed the inheritance tax return late on the estate which resulted in thousands of dollars of interest added to the inheritance tax that I and the other beneficiaries had to pay. At first when I would ask Attorney Aregood questions about where some of her property was disposed of he would respond. After a while he would no longer respond to my questions and I asked to see certain paperwork from the estate such as the estate account and he would just ignore me. He no longer communicates with me to any questions I have.
