I got labs drawn at this location in September and was told they would be fully in network and covered but rhen received a substantial bill from Labcorp. When I spoke to Labcorp, they told me the bill was because the office incorrectly entered the order and did not submit the required pre authorization, so now I was being charged the full out of pocket amount. I've called One Medical 10+ times over 6 weeks to resolve the issue and each time I've been told they're working on it and they'd get back to me soon but no one has ever called back, shared an update or made any progress. Unfortunately due to the error of this location I currently owe a several hundred dollar bill that should have been covered. I've been told it's in the hands of this location manager but they also have not communicated anything to me or shared any update. read more

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get an appointment at this location. Please be aware that there is no indication before you sign up that this is the case! But it can be months before you can get a yearly checkup arranged. One Medical is clearly overloaded on patients, but the medical team themselves have so far impressed me. read more

I hurried over to Cobble Hill, and was pleasantly surprised by the facility (super clean, modern, friendly staff)... my entire wait time and testing took about 10-15mins. I was just waxing profane about One Medical in one of my neighborhood Facebook groups and it occurred to me I've never reviewed this incredible location on Yelp. A CTRL V, if you will: I am obsessed with One Medical. I have a prescription for adhd medication and being able to see my PCP there once every 3 months for a renewal instead of a psychiatrist every month pays for itself. I've also used the app for emergency care and was super pleased (at the very beginning of Covid I was diagnosed virtually with double pink eye () and was able to get antibiotic drops prescribed without ever stepping foot in their office.) I also renew my birth control when necessary via the app. I see Sarah at their Smith street location and she is WONDERFUL. In addition to being my regular PCP, she's performed my gyno exams, helps me manage my adhd meds (as mentioned), gives me flu shots, vaccines etc. She truly takes the time to talk about all of my concerns each visit and follows up diligently via messages in the app between appointments. I've been seeing Sarah for a few years now but previously have seen other providers at their Smith Street, Union Street (Park Slope) and FiDi locations and have always had a great experience. I've never waited for more than 5 minutes for an appointment seeing Sarah or when I've had to come in for blood work (which they do on premises.) There front desk workers are kind and knowledgeable in person and on the phone (I recently lost my job and one of them spend a good thirty minutes on the phone with me walking through my payment options and advising me on marketplace insurance. Absolutely above and beyond.) Currently my annual fee is covered by my former employer but I've paid for it out of pocket and 100% will again. I could not recommend it more highly. One Medical used to be 5-stars years ago, but the service has really gone downhill during the pandemic, where it appears that they have attracted a new wave of patients with pandemic promotions without ramping up services to match the pandemic-fueled increase in demand: 1. This office staffs 1-2 receptionists who are very friendly and helpful in person, but the only way to speak with them is in-person, as they don't have any way of calling the office directly. Want to know what the office hours are for their walk-in vaccination clinic? You'll have to call their main call center in California and wait on hold 45-60 minutes to ask a simple question (and presumably be routed back to the local office, if they even allow that). It's literally quicker to spend 30 minutes in transit for a 1 minute conversation than to wait on that hold line. 2. Part of why you pay a $200 membership fee is a promise of appointments that start on time. This is not the case anymore. Just today my wife waited 20 minutes past her appointment time for her Doctor. 3. "Virtual" remote doctor/nurse consults their app used to have roughly a 5 minute wait to see someone and there was even a timer to give you a sense of how long the wait is. Now, the wait times stretch 30+ minutes and they gave up on even having a timer because the waits are so long so you have no idea if it will be 20 or 45 minutes till you get to speak with someone. 4. It is not easy to get appointments, especially same-day appointments (that they advertise as a feature). If you want to see a specific doctor, they will likely be booked-out for several weeks, if not more. The only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 is that once you actually get to see a doctor they are great. However, having the audacity to continue to charge $200 a year membership fees for this degraded service experience is ridiculous. This is no longer a premium service, which it used to be. read more

Horrible experience going in for a blood panel. The office was dirty and the front desk staff were loud and unprofessional. The phlebotomist left my arm severely bruised from a routine blood draw. On top of this I don't hear back for over a month and it isn't until I reach out that I find out that they lost my lab samples. read more

This is the future! My husband had been a member for a few years and had been on me to join One Medical so I finally caved and boy was it the BEST decision. The client service is exceptional! You can book a same-day appointment if needed which I've never been able to do with any doctor before. Their offices are spotless and modern and your appointments actually begin on time. I've been a One Medical member for years. When I needed an appointment, I paid my $200 annual fee that morning on the ap, which had expired, and went in the office. While I was in the middle of my appointment and the doctor was doing my intake, the receptionist came in to tell me that they no longer accepted my insurance (there was nothing on the ap). I was told this - while I was in the MIDDLE of being seen that this appointment would not be covered and I would be charged several hundreds for it. This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. The receptionist response was only "well, technically it's not the middle of your appointment because we took you five minutes early." Don't be a member here. They will screw you over. read more

I have been Dr Neely's patient now for almost 4 years. He is a great doctor. That aside, One Medical has cancelled my physical exam with Dr Neely now twice in the past 3 months. And each time I have to wait MONTHS to get another appointment with him. They have no ability to find another spot right away. I expect a yearly physical exam from my primary care team EVERY year, especially considering that we pay $200 extra for the service. It feels like false representation of services and I have spent the last few months wondering if I will have an appointment or not. The office staff is friendly enough but has no ability to move appointments around or work with anything that falls outside of the "program." I get that docs have to change appointments from time to time, but it's crazy that they don't have a system to reschedule within a reasonable timeframe. And now I have been waiting more than 4 months for an annual physical appointment with the doctor I have been seeing for years. How about moving the appointment of a newer patient? Or better yet, don't take on any more patients for a while? I guess that would affect the bottom line. I give 6 stars to Dr Neely and none to One Medical, so let's average that at 2 stars. If this is just a place to go last minute when I have a cold, it's a waste of money. There is no loyalty to long-term patients. I am cancelling my membership and hoping that Dr Neely opens his own practice one day : ). read more

I was all set to register but without signing up for the app at an annual cost of $200. As a paying customer I want to be sure that One Medical provides quality of care before I start paying for extras. On the first call I made I was told that I could do indeed register without paying for the app, but when I tried to sign up in this way online, it wasn't possible. The Chat then directed me to call in again at which point I got a heavy sales pitch warning me that it's extremely difficult to get services without it.... That seems to tally with other feedback. I was really excited to have a Dr office in my neighborhood so I don't have to trek all over BK or Manhattan (especially when you don't feel good). In the past, I've had Dr appointments at other offices, waiting for hours, feeling rushed - and god forbid you want to do more than 1 thing in the appointment. One Medical Group has a more modern/high tech approach, longer visits (30 min), easier to get same day appointments, simple/useful online portal where you can store your profile, health history, make appointments, request refills, AND they have an App. Their lobby is lovely, but you won't spend much time there. The exam rooms are also brand new & spacious. One Medical Group is membership based with an annual fee, I was a little skeptical about but gave it a try. I'm a busy professional who is tech savvy and travels frequently, the concept of this office works really well for me. Side note, One Medical Group also offers flat rate options for those who uninsured or paying 100% of their medical expenses. read more

One Medical provides a perfect example of how modern primary care practices should function. I've been coming to Dr. Tom Neely for about 18 months, and he's able to balance great bedside manner and courtesy with operational efficiency that allows him to start all of his appointments on time (a trademark of the One Medical brand). It's amazing to be able to schedule appointments that actually start and end on time... a huge advantage over most other providers who can't seem to figure this out. The One Medical app (or website, if you're so inclined) also allow you to easily schedule appointments (on your own, without talking to the front desk!), message your doctor (and actually get a quick response), view your labs, etc. I couldn't more highly recommend One Medical and Dr. Neely. My wife is a member of a different location and is equally blown away. read more

Best medical experience hands down. Definitely worth the $200/year membership fee. Waiting room is spotless, with friendly service and water/tea. The doctors (at least mine) are thorough and caring. The app and emails are super helpful. And best of all, I was traveling out of state and needed an emergency inhaler. I had a slew of medical issues this past year and as little as I enjoy going to the doctor, it was always a quick, conveniently-scheduled and prompt visit. My husband has been going to One Medical for six months but today was my first time joining and visiting the practice. While he raved about the practice, until I walked through the doors, I didn't understand what he meant. Imagine a waiting room that is spotless, offers tea and water, smiling staff and minimal wait time. That was my experience today. I was in and out in 10 minutes for my whooping cough vaccine and have already scheduled my annual check-up for next week. The convenience of the app along with the fact that all of their doctors, PAs, PTs and staff use email means that you can easily request appointments, ask questions and get prescriptions filled. I was a member for about eight months. I cancelled a few months ago, and I tried to just let go of my experiences here, but I can't get over how angry I am with this practice. So here is my first review of anything, ever. I was willing to pay the $200 registration fee for good, convenient medical care, as I was going through a frustrating medical issue and I didn't have a primary care doctor in the city. But it is completely pointless. One Medical is all flash and no substance. Once I went in and the nurse practitioner said that I should have gone to an urgent care instead, because One Medical didn't have the imaging system required to help me (I had a joint issue). Note that urgent cares are just as quick and convenient, with no $200 membership fee. The NP was very nice, but clearly couldn't help me at all. I went to an urgent care. But the worst offense was a different nurse practitioner. Again -- she was actually super nice and talked me through everything, which I appreciated. But then she proceeded to give me the most irresponsible medical care I have EVER received. I have debated going into details about this, but I don't want people seeking out this practice for the wrong reasons. I know this lack of explanation makes my review less convincing, but that doesn't really matter. I have told the story in detail to a couple of different doctors, and both were absolutely horrified. This NP (like the others I met with) was young, stylish, friendly, relatable, willing to help. Much like their fancy waiting rooms and sleek online interface, it's a complete facade. What you're actually getting is dangerously subpar care. They advertise the fact that you can get a refund on the registration fee if you're not satisfied with the service. So I wrote them an email, and told them that I had serious concerns about the care I received (way beyond it not being worth $200 when you can get equal/better care for free). A few days later I got a missed call. I called back, but was told that the person I should speak with had left the office, but would call back the next day. I never heard from anyone. When I finally got in touch with this woman, she sounded pissed, and said that she had already refunded my account (basically saying, so why are you bothering me?). I wanted to explain my concerns to her, but she clearly was not interested. My advice is to find a good primary care doctor in the city, and use the urgent care system when you need immediate, non-ER care. If you use One Medical, you are paying $200 for fancy waiting rooms and, if you're lucky, shockingly terrible medical care. If someone from One Medical comments on this with an offer to "make it better" or "talk to me about it" -- I sincerely wish you had been receptive to hearing my concerns in the first place. read more
