    VDay ready metallic balloons!!
    Coral T.

Pretty great selection of items. I loved that they went all out for Valentine's Day! They put a table out of a ton of flowers and gifts a few days before. I was happy to get three metallic balloons for $4!! They have some ongoing party and metallic balloons but only numbers and shapes no letters.

    new location, moved in 2011.

Rude employees . They want you to leave your purse at the front . I refused and left! The store isn't worth coming to,

Very large store with a large selection of typical dollar store stuff - lower-end things like housewares, party supplies, food, skool supplies, socks, hardware stuff, etc.

I can vouch for how fantastic Glen Park is an unique place where I enjoy going here since it's nearby to where I live and has lots of places to enjoy a bit of everything from a place eat and drink. For decades I always enjoyed hanging around Glen Park because it has a good vibe and a model of an ideal residential neighborhood in San Francisco. I am in this neighborhood all the time. It is also a good place to enjoy a place to hike in the Glen Canyon Park. There is a place in the Glen Park neighborhood where they sell lots of fun stuff from books to celebratory cards along with art and it's also a gift shop. On a November autumn stroll through Chenery street in San Francisco Glen Park neighborhood I enjoy going to Perch because it has lots of interesting items available along with some art on the walls. It feels as you stepped inside a small art gallery which sells jewelry, stationaries, special occasion cards, kitchen items, and some good books about drinks and food. When visiting the Glen Park neighborhood in San Francisco plan a visit and stop at Perch on Chenery street. Go to Glen Park if you are in "search" for novelties and interesting "merch " and it's available inside a store called "Perch" if you haven't gone to Glen Park better do some online " research" Come to one of the best neighborhoods ranked #35 in the world by Time Out ( timeout.com) as it was " written" and enjoy a stroll all four seasons with the neighborhood charm you will be "smitten" go to the Perch which is located on Chenery street and the cross street is called Diamond and it's a gem that is " hidden"

Unfortunately, I will never go back after an interaction that I had with the woman who works there today. She has never been particularly polite (she's snapped at both me and my husband), but we were willing to overlook that to support a local business. That changed today. I approached the store with my newborn in her stroller. The woman had her large, nine month old puppy tied to the front door of the store. Since the dog could easily jump on my stroller (it was quite large), I asked if it was baby friendly. I said, "I have a newborn in here, is your dog safe with babies?" And she snapped rudely, "I don't know. That's your responsibility." Mind you, we were literally on our first walk out of the house and had prioritized going to perch to get a little gift for our baby girl. This interaction was so totally unnecessary. Not only should a giant puppy not be tied to the front door, but to snap at parents trying to keep their kid safe is totally inappropriate. Move your dog! Be kind! Ugh I am so done. I will never be back. PS, I should clarify that I love dogs and I am a large dog owner myself. It is our responsibility as dog owners to 1) know how our dogs behave with kids and other dogs and 2) depending on that behavior, take precautions. This woman chose to do neither and was rude to us when we asked her to.

In a city where so much is changing--where cherished neighborhood stores are closing their doors after years of serving the community--it's truly uplifting to see you still here. Day after day, you show up with dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to this neighborhood. You are, without a doubt, one of the kindest and most community-driven shops left in San Francisco. What you may not realize is just how deeply you matter to all of us. For anyone reading this, I have to share something special: many nights, your son walks over with a homemade meal--gourmet, bursting with the best Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, crafted with love and care. It's a beautiful gesture of kindness and family that touches everyone lucky enough to experience it. Sometimes, there's even an extra plate for someone who might be hungry. I've been fortunate to witness this generosity firsthand, and I can say without hesitation--the food is absolutely incredible. Thank you for reminding me what true community means. I am so excited to see the amazing things you will bring with the new deli. Please, if you haven't already, stop by Holloway Market. Support this family. You might not. No worries- plenty of parking in lot and never gets full! Alright if you come in already knowing what to expect. Don't expect new crafts vendors. Many booths are tools, books, old dishware, old toys, jewelry pieces, plants, used stuff. Some vendors are nice and I enjoy chatting. They're usually repeat vendors weekly. Each person has their speciality or own type of goods. You can bargain. Bathrooms and porta potties available. One food truck and one baked good stand. I suggest eating first before coming. Behind the parking lot is a street full of more vendors. Feels super even more junky there. Police ask them to leave once in a while since they're not registered vendors.

Pros:…read more- parking is a breeze, and great location - tons of different stuff from antiques to music to games to comics - food truck option - shade for hot days, easy access to market vendor items - good hours, super convenient to be open till 3pm for late risers like myself on Sunday - best prices around, amazing value on stuff (I mean, it is a flea market!) - THE NICEST PEOPLE YOU WILL MEET The vendors are terrifically kind, always give discounts and just the kind of people I wanna hang and vibe with. A sweet old lady gave me old records last time while closing up and refused to take money for them. She finally agreed to let me buy her a coffee next time. It's like a real community here, and I love it! Some small cons: - managers have cracked down on "side-vendors" selling goods across the street. That's dumb. Let people sell their old crap. - fees for vendors are a lot. I've thought about vending here for fun, but forget it. How do people make money here? - staff in recent years has started closing the parking lot and kicking people out super fast at close to 3pm. Why? It's not like another event is coming after. Let people lazily enjoy their Sunday? So yeah, the cons are management issues. But the people here? Absolute tops.
