We thought awhile before posting this review but feel that it's important for people to know what…read morethey're getting into. We own a five-year-old LG refrigerator that is making a noise like a playing card in a bike spoke. The repair person, Kevin, immediately began telling us upon his arrival that our $4,300 refrigerator was 'nothing but junk.' He heard the sound, although it was quieter that day, and I also played two recordings of the sound for him. HE STATED A FEW TIMES that he had no idea what the problem would be. First red flag. He then told us that he DOESN'T WORK WITH REFRIGERANT and that he is not licensed to do so, in the event that the problem was refrigerant related. That was the next big red flag. He pulled out the frig and took off the top panel to listen further. He put a magnet in a couple places to turn off the interior lights to listen again. Then he began to scroll on his tablet TO LOOK UP ARTICLES ONLINE for what the problem might be. That was another red flag. He put the back panel back on, scrolled further, and then took the back panel back off and reset the refrigerator digitally. He replaced the back panel again and then told us to listen to see if the noise went away when we opened the freezer drawer. He wasn't in our home more than 15 minutes, had no idea what the problem was, and left us with the advice to just keep listening for the noise and TO CONSIDER BUYING ANOTHER REFRIGERATOR. He did no actual diagnostic work, didn't remove the lower back panel to get inside and listen closer, and had no advice for how to constructively proceed to reach a solution. HE THEN CHARGED US $97.50 FOR THE VISIT, a visit with no real expertise demonstrated on his part. To add to the problem, he scratched the handle of our black stainless-steel refrigerator, a scratch that is very visible. In full disclosure, we did not contact the company about the scratch because we know they will do nothing to compensate for it. We felt that he decided at the beginning when he saw our refrigerator was a high-end LG that he wasn't going to get involved with it. He should have just excused himself at that point and not charged us for the visit. Our advice would be to pass this company by, and if you decide to call them, ask for your repair person NOT to be Kevin.

He came, assessed and…read morediagnosed that it was the filter head that had gone out and asked me to clear all the food from that side of the fridge because he would have to remove all the shelves in order to get at the back panel. So I did. He took out all the shelves but one and started to remove the panel. I happened to walk by and noticed that one shelf was still in there. So I said in a curious way, "Oh, I thought you would have to take all the shelves out" To which he stopped what he was doing and in a tense tone of voice and a stern facial expression turned to me and said "I have been doing this for 20 years, I will not have you telling me how to do my job. If you cannot sit quietly I will send you to the other room to wait." He could see that I was angry and said "I would say the same thing to my mother" When he continued on with his rant, I simply turned and walked away. It was clear to me that anything coming from me about how you will not tell me where I can go and not go in my own house would only escalate his anger. When I walked away he said "This work relationship is over, I will not work in this environment" and he packed his bags and left. If I could give negative stars, I would. He was rude and condescending. My question was solely based on information he had previously given me. It certainly did not warrant this kind of angry, aggressive behavior. It was not questioning his ability at all. Clearly he has some deeper issues and lacks appropriate people skills to be in a customer facing line of work. Buyer beware.
