Stock Jo Downs glass (a local glass artist from Launceston) and Viva clay beads amongst many other lovely brands. Plenty of space to look around without feeling cramped. They also have some lovely christening/baby gifts, candlesticks, oil burners, scarves, candles, Christmas decorations, glass vases etc. They are also doing some very neat 'Wish Lists' for Christmas where you can note down things you like in the shop and slip the hint to loved ones with cash! The air station operates the Royal Navy's latest helicopter the Merlin in addition to the ageing Sea kings. Other aircraft operate here that include Hawk jets and Jetstreams. The shop offers you the chance to sit down and look at the aircraft flying while enjoying a nice cuppa and cake. You can even buy some souvenirs in Navy aviation. A nice little facility but be warned you can never guarantee aircraft will be flying the station has 3 main 'leave' periods throughout the year and a number of the units are deployed worldwide.

The shop sells imported things - too many items to list but especially ethnic-y jewellery and sequined cushion covers and throws. I usually find brilliant stocking fillers here but it is also great for larger items like wooden frames, even furniture! The shop itself is situated in an old cottage and as you explore each room you come across new treasures - definitely recommended!
