Inititally I thought it was clothing consignment but once inside I quickly realized it's home furnishings and such. The displays were set up nicely and they were still decorated tastefully for Christmas. They had an assortment of wall decor, knick knacks, floral displays, as well as occasional and large furniture pieces. The space is separated into two areas and I found the space on the right to be more current and suspected alot of this inventory was new. In the rear on this side was more vintage and one of a kind items, clearly used, including some tools as shown. I did feel the pricing was high, but didn't feel it was super unreasonable if the items were new. The area to the left was more consignment pieces, some a little dated, all very obviously used. Again I thought the prices were high, actually exorbitant for used furniture. Many of the well worn, not antique dressers were over $100. If you're shopping for this type of item you'd be better off cruising FB marketplace or craigslist. There was a basket of new cabinet/dresser knobs that were reasonably priced if new which I suspect they were. A small room to the very rear featured some vintage kitchen pieces and a portable island. Again, prices were high for what the items were and this area was very limited. To sum up my visit I enjoyed browsing the right side and thought their displays were wonderful but probably wouldn't shop here.

Dropped off a grandfather clock. The owner said it would be ready in 3 months and approx $300. 6…read moremonths later it's finally ready and go to pick it up and it's $500. Horrible. I understand estimates are estimates but that estimate is off by 66% on cost and 100% on time. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THEY'LL CHARGE YOU DRASTICALLY MORE THAN THEY QUOTE TO PICK IT UP YOUR CLOCK.

Dropped off two clocks to get evaluated. Clerk stated it would cost ten dollars per clock for…read moreevaluation. Clerk called and stated each clock needed bushings, oil, and a good cleaning and EACH clock would cost $375.00 a piece to repair. WOW! I picked up both clocks and took them to Ye Olde Clock Shoppe right down the street. The owner Jeff stated one clock was running fine needed a little oil and that was it. The other clock needed some oil, an adjustment and a good cleaning. Jeff stated he would charge me $100.00 to fix both clocks and that the bushings were fine nothing wrong with them at all! ( Jeff said if its not broken why fix it?) DO NOT go to Payne & Campbell a total rip off! They need to be reported to the B.B.B.
