Had a roof cave in and they were to come and repair the mould remediation and drywall. The team that came for mould remediation tear down and drywall were great. Polite and very friendly. Once the painter team came in and the team to do the trim it was a disaster. Its been over 4 weeks and we can't get 1 room repaired. I heard the painter complaining cause they said he had to paint the hallway. Also I believe there is more mould but they cheaped out and didn't pull walls and floor away in second room which also had a leak. Recently my husband told the trim and paint team not to use our bathroom without permission in a strong way and now they've run off with their tails between their legs. Saying they dont feel safe they feel threatened. So we are being spitefully held hostage cause grown men can't take feedback. Their project manager is also weak to let them get away with it. Their cleaners are on point the 2nd ones Rachel and crew. The first cleaners were suss then I got Rachel. if I could give zero starts I would. They came in to my emergency situation, promised a bunch of work would be covered by insurance, and it was not. I sent the 1000$ deposit as they were expected to start work. Because some of the work was not actually covered by insurance and they were trying to charge me an additional 3000$ on top of the ridiculous amounts they charged the insurance company for unnecessary work and services, I cancelled the work order and request a refund immediately. It's been 3 weeks and everyone I've spoken to can't seem to help to get my $1000 deposit back. They've been extremely rude and lack empathy given the situation they've put me in. I've had to go as far as now contacting the bank to investigate and go after them. This has been the most unorganized, frustrating, and unprofessional company I've ever worked with! DO NOT use this company - currently dealing with the Peterborough branch after a flood back in March. Work is still to be completed. Poor communication does not even begin to describe the responses and excuses that spew out of these peoples mouths. It is has been 8+ mths and I still cannot get them to complete the work properly. Firstly, they subcontracted out the repairs to another company that did a terrible job and caused additional damages. They acknowledge the damage but will not fix it. Still waiting for them to complete the contents claim saying specialists will be out to the house to review but no one ever shows up or calls. Not only that, I cant get them to pick up the garbage the workers have left behind. Their work is subpar, their management could care less, their workers rarely show up on time or complete the work that was requested. Dealing with them has been nothing but a nightmare. If your insurance lists them as your restoration company demand another. Do your research. This is not the company to trust. If I could rate them a 0 I would. read more

DO NOT use these guys, they're blatant rip off artists. Same as other reviews - my insurance company sent them in for our sewer backup, they were supposed to clean it all and then make it right. The backup occurred at the end of February and I haven't heard from them for two weeks. My basement is an empty concrete shell, they have all my goods and have already told my insurance company they've exceeded my coverage of $30M. Now I'm getting the rest of it done myself at my cost. On Side was hired by my insurance company after there was a flood to pack and move my items. Some items were packed in paper and put into boxes and labeled with the utmost care. Some precious, breakable items were tossed without wrapping into ceramic footstools and broken! it was like 2 different companies were involved. I was later told that they might have been since outsiders were also part of the crew. Many items were not packed properly at all and were ruined (like picture frames). Many items were lost. Some expensive items were zippered into my mattress (how I found them was a miracle). I know I moved from one unit to another, but the kitchen island should still have exactly the same contents on it regardless of what kitchen it's placed into. Instead, all my beauty care items were put on the kitchen island. Similarly, my art table should have paint and brushes on it, no matter if you can't figure out where to put the actual table. Instead, my enema bucket was put there instead of back on the hook in bathroom door! I know it was a lot, but Simon, the manager said he had it all under control and trusted his team. He said there would be a video to follow to put items back in place; there was NO video and really low quality pictures taken after the stuff w=was already moved from it's original position, rendering the pics useless. In the 2 weeks+ it took to pack up my stuff, somehow they put my guitar outside on the balcony and left it there for weeks. Which caused the neck to crack. It was a vintage item. Clothes organized very neatly wer3e taken out of 3 drawers only to be packed with items from entryway closet in a mess plus stuff that wasn't even mine, but belonged to On Side, like ropes, bungee cords, caribiners, etc. Don't ruin perfectly organized drawers with clothes that will still need to be under the bed in new home. Makes no sense. I have incurred 10,000+ in damages and lost items and the followup to get this compensated has been abominable. I have reached out over 10 times. I am awaiting a call from supervisor Jeremy today. If he sends me 10,000 today, I will change my review to 2 stars. Major pain in the butt when your home is gone, you're bed bound, stuck at a hotel for 5 months, dealing with lawyers, etc and they can't even get the moving done in a way that has your back. I have had to pay TaskRabbit organizers over $1,000 to organize all my items from the "before" pics (that unfortunately were taken in the middle of the process) back to the "before". The services were completed prior to January 5, 202. Today is August 22, 2022. Over 8 months of non-resolution. read more

A horrible horrible company. My insurance company hired them after a tornado destroyed my house and garage in Cambridge May 2022. During that time I was forced to live else where. I had things stolen and broken due to lack of them putting up security fencing as begged them to. When they did finally, they did not secure it therefore more vandalism. Homeless and druggies left evidence they were camping out. Excuse was "if they want to get in they will" Don't make it easy for them. Key was left in the door, door left wide open as they went for a smoke and never shut it nor locked it. One Police report. This was over a long weekend. It took them over 2 years to repair some items. I ended up having to take them to court to get funds after they botched up the job and me having to bring in my own contractor to fix things. I drove by house to find my bedroom window was broken which took over a year for them to replace and I had to move in with it broken. When I found out and contacted them, response was "we guess someone was looking for copper wire". When questioned why I was not informed, response was "I guess we should have called you and I shouldn't be at house due to safety". I drove by and noticed. They take no responsibility. 6 formal Police reports. 3 Managers who no one knew what the other was doing and Assistant Manager useless and incompetent. House was left filthy, garbage laying around, painting not completed etc.. I had out sourced materials with serial numbers, model numbers where to purchase etc. This was not done and I was left finding and following up on materials. (I needed to take funds out of my retirement investments to finish their mess up). When they did put things in they were wrong and needed to be replaced and redone. Still fixing things after two and a half years that should never have needed to be done. Items broken that should never have been touched. No communication and always an excuse. I informed them I could be at house any time needed and always a phone call away. I was insulted, my home and myself disrespected and lied to. When I mentioned how stressful this was, was informed "I'm bringing the stress on myself". Imagine your quietly working on yard, tornado hits and Fire Department and Engineer say you need to move out. I couldn't even enter to obtain items needed thus needed to buy new clothing, toiletries etc. My neighbors as did I noticed that the workers had attitude and it was clear they did not want to be there. They put a lien on the house as insurance company didn't pay them for what ever reason. Another reason I had to take them to court. Several times I was informed that this was a big project. Then man up and admit you can't do it. Get someone in who can. I am disgusted that this company is still in business and feel bad for those who were roped in to using this corrupt company for what ever reason. read more
