I attended Mind Above Matter in Arlington this past summer. It started out well with a therapist…read morenamed John. For no reason and out of the blue, John was let go. I found it unprofessional that the manager, Joy, told us he was let go because they'd had issues with him for over a year! Joy told me personally she was going to try and get his job back. That was never going to be the case. We were told this to appease us! Joy took over the class for a few days and she was aweful! No clue how to conduct a therapy group! She told us she wanted honest feedback but was anoid with my less then positive review! A girl named Kristeen took the class over and she did a good job at first. But I was not told how many classes I had left even though I kept asking and was abruptly dismissed. Then told they would see if I could continue and was given more time. A new patient joins who was never fully involved in group. This girl was always on her cell, not paying attention and disruptive. My time ended when I brought this up! The girl got mad, others were allowed to leave because the situation made them uncomfortable. Instead of asking them to work out there feelings. I was treated with such disrespect by Kristeen. This even though it was her job to rectify the situation. I was then told my time was up! I told Joy I wanted to speak with her and Kristeen in person about how I was treated. She made an appointment with me and Kristeen. But when I went for my 3 o'clock appointment, Kristeen was leaving the building! I asked her why she was leaving and she ignored me, got in her car! I called Joy to come outside where she reprimanded me, told me it was o.k. for Kristeen to leave because I was going to file a complaint. I said I'd filed nothing yet and how dare she! Joy then called the police on me and told me to leave! I waited for the police. They were confused at why they had been called! Me too! This place has no right providing therapy to people in need! They are unprofessional and have no idea what they're doing! DONT GO HERE!

The only good aspects of my treatment was when we had substitute therapist and my interactions with the interns. The office staff was abysmal at best. They were friendly but they could not do much with what they were given. I was in treatment from January to March and I repeatedly asked for a current financial agreement almost everyday. They did not give me one until the last of my stay and asked for an absurd amount of money. Now I'm May I have not received an official financial agreement. The one I was given is written out on a piece of paper with a sticky note attached. I have been to the Keller location and it was a solid 5 stars. But this location and even the higher ups that I have contacted about my concerns are not good at all. I suggest finding a new company all together if you are asked to attend the Burleson location.

Ultimately my decision to seek…read moretreatment at Curis was because 3 of my family members highly recommended Dr. Albracht after obtaining great results in their treatment plans. Another reason was that the office has the ability to X-ray and read results same day for the fastest and best plan of action. Everyone on staff was truly helpful.
