Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. My husband and 11 year old daughter got into a wreck last night due to…read moreice...the state trooper asked if he needed it towed and he said yes, Randy's driver gets there, asks where he wants it towed to, my husband says that they need a ride which is why he wanted it towed to our home and the driver agrees and hooks it up...so our truck is hooked up and in the process of driving and randy calls the driver and says no you're taking it to our place, they can either find a ride home or they can ride with us on these next few cars, until we're done...now, the truck had no heat and it was already 8 o'clock my daughter had to get home...so my husband decides whatever I'm not arguing.. then randy says it's 150 bucks (we have triple a) and my husband said oh we have triple a he said they don't deal with triple a (probably other way around) and he said we have towing through our insurance and randy said he's giving my husband a deal because he usually charges 500 (it was a 5 mile tow) so today I call randy himself and ask why our truck wasn't towed here because that's where it needed to be..he called my husband a liar and said that my husband wanted it towed to Randy's place...so then I said no, but what do I need to do and he yelled at me accusing ME of yelling at him?!? So I finally flipped after he yelled at me multiple times he was so unprofessional. Thankfully it's out of there...don't give this guy your business, wait for another company it'll be worth it in the end.

I had it towed to Schultz Service Center.

My car died with engine light coming on. I called AAA. They sent Castle Towing & Recovery to tow…read moreme. What i liked was the Towing Co. Calling me directly to get my whereabouts. They were patient with me while we looked for landmarks. Jaden was my tow driver. I was originally going to have it towed to the nearest auto shop about 6 miles away. It would have been late in the day and more than likely it wouldn't be diagnosed til the next day and if parts needed, we were looking at a weekend outage to get Mini parts delivered. I was 60 miles from home, 64 miles from my trusted mechanic, and only basic AAA towing coverage (3 miles free with $7 per mile after that plus 3 percent surcharge fir a credit card). I examined my choices with a hotel stay x number days or a rental car home or just having it towed home. Jaden was very helpful with giving me time to decide and helping with my decision. He had a strong feeling the engine was locked up and, if so, chances it couldn't be repaired. He offered to directly tow it to my mechanic, giving me a ride in the process, while we looked up mileage and towing cost. I opted for the long tow and ride. Of course, I was sad but I'm a problem solver so knew this was going to be my best option time and money wise. It was easy being Jaden's passenger. Conversation was easy and made the long ride and situation bearable. He even had to sit in agonizing rush-hour traffic on I-279 towards Pittsburgh and did it with grace and humor. He took my car to my mechanic and we left it there after-hours. I then got a Lyft ride home. I made sure to tip him. Regardless of this being part of his job, it took 128 miles out of his day with a stranger to entertain. Oh, and BTW, the engine was locked up, dead forever. But the diagnosis came from my mechanic, someone I trusted, they let me keep the car there for the week til i could sell to salvage, and the car was nearby to clean out all my belongings. It was what it was and I think good choices prevailed. (P.S. I did upgrade my AAA for towing distance privileges for my current car). I am most thankful for Jaden, giving me time and helping with my options.
