We then continued progress checks every couple weeks with her constant feedback of my choices via the app. As time has progressed she has introduced meal planning, recipes, the importance of chia seeds, and gut health. This is the best investment I have made for myself and have and will continue to use her skills to help in establishing healthy eating habits. And the weightloss as a result isn't so bad either...averaging a pound a week.

I was pursuing an appeal with my insurance, and the owner of Nutrition Authority was aware of this and initially appeared cooperative. However, I never received any billing statements from ABS until I received a phone call demanding payment and falsely stating that the account could be sent to collections and negatively impact my credit score -- which is not true, as medical billing cannot be reported to credit bureaus. When I requested that ABS provide the statements or send duplicates, they stated this was not possible due to using a third-party mailing service. When the statements finally arrived, they reflected balance billing despite my insurance clearly indicating what my patient responsibility was. The total billed was $2,300; insurance covered $1,100, and my responsibility was $300, though there was an attempt to charge me $400. The involvement of the owner of Nutrition Authority in the billing process caused additional confusion and demonstrated a lack of professionalism. Overall, the process was stressful, disorganized, and not handled in a manner that reflects fair or transparent billing practices.
