A debutante conned me to come with her to Dentistry of South Florida, she was just coming for teeth cleaning, but that's enough to get me to clasp my cross of Christ. Dentists scare the B'Jesus out of me, I used to have nightmares of dentists doing unnecessary procedures one me without anesthesia. The office is super clean and modern, it had a sorta calming effect on my mind. I was surprised at how courteous and professional everyone was from the front desk to the dental hygenist. The hygenist did a complete exam on the debutante which included the "deep pocket" exam on the gums. After speaking with the hygenist and the dentist Angela Berkovich, I decided to unbelievably schedule a teeth cleaning and general dental exam for myself. They do Restorative, Cosmetic, and General dentistry. - lot's of free parking

I asked for Nitrogen as I don't like needles, I sat in the chair for a long time before DR. Sanchez came in. I asked why I am waiting so long. No response. He left again and I followed him. He works on a couple of patients at the same time. Finally, when he got to me, he told the nurse to put on the Nitrogen and told me open wide, and he Jammed a huge needle and hurt mw really bad. My insurance also paid them, and I was told by my insurance to only pay $105.00. I brought this to their attention and was told No Refund and want me to pay another $12.00. Only for cleaning and thats every 6 months he's 4 and hasn't got a cleaning since last year. I grew very concern about his back teeth I stated that It looks like a cavity or that its starting to form. mind you i dont have insurance but I do know what a cavity looks like and know when its forming. I needed A top denture, which required the majority of my upper teeth to be extracted During my consultation, Dr Teodoru himself, took the time to sit with me and explain in detail every step of the procedure, I don't ever recall having the doctor himself take the time out to do that, instead of another member of the staff. By the time I left my consultation, all of my fears and anxieties were gone and I knew this is going to be a positive experience. When I showed up for my actual appointment, I had very little anxiety, and my nerves were actually not completely shot. In 2 1/2 hrs, I walked out with a complete top denture after having all my upper teeth extracted. I still cannot believe that they did both extractions and Dentures all during the same appointment, and it took under three hours from beginning to end!
