Upon walking in, everything is clean, organized, masks, and hand sanitizer stations, in multiple areas of the building, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and communicative. The doctor I got.. I am so sorry, but I forgot his name, but he drew out my problem for me, took the time to draw it out! so I knew what was going on with my skin! and that was the first time in my life a doctor was like that with explaining my eczema, and spoke to my ADHD. Seeing it drawn out and explained like that, made so much sense, after 25 years of eczema. VERY informative, and professional. His diagnosis, and what he prescribed to me, helped me within 24 hours! Went to urgent care a little before close, for an xray on my arm. I apologized they were about to…read moreclose, but needed to be seen. I was greeted with judging faces, only one kind nurse was behind the front desk. was taken back, and immediately seen by the doctor. While the doctor was examining my arm, the nurse was doing my vitals. She seemed in a rush and annoyed. She was like "So tell me about your blood pressure. you know that's not normal for your age." with her arms crossed and an upset look. I explained to her I have bad anxiety when it comes to medical appointments, and have been under stress, lack of sleep, etc. So my blood pressure being high makes sense. She looked at me and said something along the lines of "mhm. well you need to get that anxiety under control." and closed the door without me saying anything. I don't believe a provider should ever say anything like that to a patient, especially because I was there in pain and already anxious. I got my xray and they pushed me right out. The same nurse didn't say a word to me again, and seemed relieved I was leaving. I work in healthcare, and I know this should never be an appropriate experience for anyone.

Once they have determined our need they quickly provide the service required in a pleasant manner and send us on our way. Much faster than urgent care. If you don't have an emergency and need the emergency room this is a wonderful option!

They do not mention it or tell you. They just scam you and tack it onto the bill for the actual care you received. If you call, you get a person who knows nothing and claims that no front desk person will ever know what to bill. It is a "new patient fee." If you escalate, they blame it on Medicare. If you let them know you are not using Medicare, then they blame it on the CRS rules. They must bill you $485 for being a new patient. It's such a blatant ripoff and it takes advantage of wounded or sick people. This place should be shut down for unethical billing. This is the reason you can get in quickly. Once burned, you never come back. They wait on the edge of their web for another unsuspecting person needing medical attention. Do not allow them to feed on your back account. Donna had not been feeling well but kept putting off seeing a doctor, but on March 7, I drove her to Urgent Care because of her high heart rate - the medical term called Tachycardia - and a painful rash that had developed overnight. At reception, we were told it would be a three-hour wait, but on hearing Donna's heart rate was over 100 beats a minute, the receptionist called in a Physician's Assistant, who immediately took us in to an exam room. The PA was professional and knowledgeable. As she did the routine checks, she answered all our questions and put us both at ease. Dr. Charlotte Gardner came in to talk to Donna and examine her. Dr. Gardner quickly determined that Donna was suffering from shingles, and said if we had waited one more day to come in, it would have been too late for antivirals to have any effect. The antivirals cannot cure shingles but do help to lessen the severity of symptoms. Donna was told to stay home for 7 to 10 days and continue with the prescribed medication. Thank goodness for the skilled care and attention we received at Samaritan Urgent Care in Corvallis.
