I also was in the mood for a Tajine and as I'm vegetarian, they made me a fully vegetarian one - it was absolutely delicious. We also had 2 bottles of their Bordeaux which went well with the meal and was very reasonably priced. The owners were very friendly and we had a lovely conversation with them, they made us feel very much at home. They've been at this location for over 19 years - that speaks volumes about the quality and service. Highly recommended!

The food is well-prepared, if not outstanding. I had a simple charcuterie plate and chopped beef with a very nice gargonzola sauce. No where that I had charcuterie was the presentation as good as I have found it at French restaurants in the US: no mustard, not enough pickles. This was no exception, but it was fine. My daughter had a pasta dish with Bolognese sauce and linguini. It was good, if undersalted, as was my wife's chicken. Still, the quality was good, and we enjoyed our lunch. As most bistros do, there was a limited wine-by-the-glass selection, but the prices were good, and the wines were tasty and warming. 3 stars for food; 4 for location and ambience.

Less than 50 m from the Place Royale, this unpretentious establishment retains the gastronomic common richness of the region. Great wine, great cheese, and a menu composed of unsurprising classics. The service is warm and professional. Effective and fast, and truly willing to make it work for you. The food is good enough. Being well served classic standards, from escargots to brig tartare, it is difficult not to just like them. This will not change the way you see the world, as food can often do, but will make you have a nice uncomplicated time.

The vibe was chill and we were seated upstairs upon arrival. Brut by the glass for $7. Sold! We had several glasses of the house brut, which was great! Our server was really sweet, and very helpful. Even with limited english, she tried really hard to assist us with questions, and when language barrier was an issue, she went above and beyond in explaining a few things with visuals;-). With many salads to choose from, I went with the breaded turkey and vegetable salad in a thin, crispy shell. It was perfect, with a light but tangy dressing and that shell was excellent. Before we departed Reims, we actually visted BdF again for lunch, and I enjoyed the same salad a second time with more of that lovely champagne.
