Stain-Pro Concrete

I do not recommend Wes from Stain-Pro concrete. While he was polite and seemed professional and his…read morecrew was very polite and respectful, the job he did was far below expectation. He stained and finished our concrete floors in our BRAND NEW house and the end result was awful. The finish is patchy, not shiny or smooth at all. The concrete is rough in spots and smooth in others. He refused to fix it, instead implying the end result was my fault because I did not communicate what type of finish I wanted. He asked for payment before the job was completely finished, assuring me the finish would come out "when the light hit it." Of course, I trusted him and paid him and then it was all over for me. His crew removed my interior doors to do the floor and when they rehung the doors, five of them wouldn't shut. When I brought this to his attention, he said he wasn't responsible because he "didn't manufacture or install the doors." Funny that they worked fine before his crew messed with them. My general contractor graciously fixed them for me. Wes did offer to put two coats of wax on the floor, but I was under the impression that this floor would not need upkeep. He said he could not put any more finish on the floor, but I called the manufacturer and the manufacturer indicated he likely used the wrong finish and I COULD put an epoxy on the floor if I lightly scuff the existing finish. Wes took NO responsibility for the problem, instead simply repeating over and over again that he did the job exactly as he said he would and that he had NEVER had a problem with any customer. I have seen his work on other floors and it was good, but mine is NOT. After spending 6,000 dollars on this floor, my husband I are going to spend the weekend following the manufacturer's instructions and try to fix it. Wish us luck!

Roberto and Alex are a fantastic team. Mrs. Alex speaks English fluently and translates for…read moreRoberto. I was so impressed with their responsiveness, reasonable pricing, and attention to detail. They really went above and beyond in repairing exterior cracks along the base of our brick walls, surrounding our home. They repaired cracks in the driveway. They also fixed areas of brick, doing a careful job of color-matching. They also poured a concrete pad for our trash & recycling bins, carefully crafting a nice-looking edge to prevent the bins from rolling into the alleyway. Lastly, they came inside and repaired cracks in our stained concrete floors, making sure to smooth the concrete so it would be soft on bare feet. The team was versatile, hard-working, honest, careful, and good about wearing masks. They carefully cleaned up when they left, too! Would definitely hire again. Giving my strongest recommendation to this excellent service team.

The man who came to fix the leak didn't know how to find the leak. He made 7 holes in my walls. I paid him 2400.00 to fix the leak . He informed me at the end that Alco doesn't fix holes . I would have to get a sheetrock man. Then he said he could fix it but it would cost 350. He came when he got off work each day and made a huge mess. This went on for about a week. I finally found someone else who would come back and fix it for me. He did a beautiful job, but that cost another 900.00. Not to mention the job turned out to NOT be a 2400.00 job like they estimated. I would have much rather paid by the hour. Live and learn.

However, there were a few problems: There is one area at the outer edge of the house the manufacturer specifically marked that there should be a support piling in that area. The piling was there, but was about 2" short. I had to add blocks to where it's actually supporting the house. Approx. 2 weeks later the floor is squeaking in an area that wasn't before. They did not replace the skirting they'd removed while working. I spent over 4 hours replacing the skirting. I tried to contact them, no response.
