10 out of 10 everything! As soon as we sat to dine in we were given chips, salsa, and get this, Guacamole on our table! I thought that was refreshingly different. It was so good. My daughter and I had steak tacos, my husband had the fish tacos, and they even had elotes which my son had. The steak was seasoned delicious but what I enjoyed the most is that I didn't have to bite into fat like other restaurants, they were perfect. My husband fish tacos were not over fried and delicious. My sons elote cup was full and very flavorful. You can't beat the 3 tacos for $5. You'd think when you hear that price you'll get mediocre but that's not the case at all 100% premium delicious. Got the 3 for $5 special for lunch the other day, and YUM! It was a perfect portion for myself but guys I work with definitely wanted an extra serving. The salsa has a kick, which I love but could be a warning if you can't take the heat. Not authentic Mexican Tacos. You need to take a trip to Mexico to know what are authentic tacos, is not only about "the best meat", it is about flavor and smell. Tacos are not served in just 1 flavor, they are multiple flavor and they are not served with lettuce and tomatoes, a taco must have chopped onion, guacamole or salsa taquera, radishes, cucumbers, rajas, fried onion but not tomatoes and you must be able to smell the flavor at least about a street away. I was skeptical when I heard the tacos had tomato and lettuce. That's usually Americanized hamburgers, appeasing a certain clientele; that being said I haven't tasted a better taco in ages. The tortilla was perfect; toasty, soft and juicy. The meat was well seasoned and moist. The tacos melted our mouths; I barely tasted the lettuce and tomatoes, but even they were fresh. Love it! Especially when they take their time to cook their tortilla crispy. Like last week, that was awesome. Sometimes they're so in a hurry that its chewy soggy. I love the steak cut in small cubes. Love their sauce, they're so tasty. I always order all ingredients with Hot sauce. Mild sauce is also available. Definitely the best street tacos in town. Although it's in a rough area, you feel very safe there as there is a lot of staff and security. The tacos are very flavorful, juicy and the meat is seasoned very well. 3 tacos for $5 is unbeatable. No tax. It's great. I went two days in a row. They are open very late which it a cool thing too.
