The menu is very large and everyone in our group loved the food. They had English menus, which was super helpful, since my German isn't the best. I got one of the specials, which was a schnitzel with ham and cheese on top, with a vodka sauce-like topping. At the end of the meal, the waitress brought complementary schnapps for all of us. The owners of the restaurant also wandered around to make sure everything was ok. Sitting outside, the noise from the street was pretty loud, but we will still be definitely coming back before we leave Munich

Flavor-wise, it was the best pumpkin soup I had in Germany. The risotto was prepared very well. It was not mushy, or hard, and was flavorful, not bland. The pasta dishes were very good too. Overall, the restaurant is conveniently located near the palace. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend giving this restaurant a try.

The day we visited, it also served as a nice holdover from the rain while we waited for the bus to pick us up. The interior is quaint and cozy, with wood paneling and dim light fixtures. The menu had much of the standard Bavarian fare, which worked out as we were able to order some shared plates (charcuterie board, pretzel, strussel, and some beers). Overall it was a nice place to spend an hour outside of the rain, even though it was a bit pricey.
