This is our go to pasta place everytime we're in town!!
This time, we had the burrata, penne ubriaco, salami pizza and carbonara. The burrata was soft, creamy and fresh, contrasting with the nutty rucola perfectly. The leaves benefited from a drizzle of olive oil and crack of pepper and salt, but it tasted golden after!
The carbonara was rich, with a good saltiness from the bacon to cut through the creaminess. The ubriaco had a rich, creamy tomato sauce that coated the succulent chunks of chicken and bacon, making for a very savoury dish. I also really appreciate that every pasta dish came with a big wedge of foccacia, which was perfect for mopping up the sauces with!!
The tiramisu we had for dessert was moist, creamy and rich: just the way it should be!
The atmosphere is also the right blend of chic and koselig, so it's always nice to go there for a relaxed family meal.
Overall: would very much recommend this place! read more
