This is actually a b&b not an antiques store. The house dates back to 1592, the village is awesome (eat at the Swan) and the full English breakfast is delicious and will keep you full until dinner time. Pam and David were wonderful hosts. read more

Such nice individual things lovely to just go and have a look around in and seeing different one off bits. I have never gone in looking for anything specific to buy but more often than not come out with some great one off buy! The shops contents always changes and is very varied from old jewelerry to funiture and memorabilia. Definitly worth popping in from time to time even if just for interest there are some really lovely bits! Kind of like and Aladdins cave that keeps going!

Shakespeare Hospice is spread in several areas of Warwickshire and the clothing and jewellery find there follow the outstanding pattern from some boutiques. As I am a bit weird in my choices I was more interested to bring back home, as quick as possible, two editions of Jeff Lindsay books ( £ 1.50 each) which I have the Portuguese versions in Brazil. As well as I started a very careful hunting for some gorgeous bracelets ( 50 pence each) available in the shop. I am also still dreaming about all jewellery that shop sells. It's posh and the service is just wonderful. An as well posh lady with a smile on her face served me which was something really nice but I still think she didn't know I was buying books about the history of a very pop serial killer. Anyway, Shakespeare Hospice at Henley-in-Arden is definitely a shop to visit in this picturesque village.

Well, this is an experience. The little shop at the front is great. They sell Wiccan, Gothic, Pagan and Witchcraft supplies, ornaments, jewellery, incense, burners, clothes, oils, stones, tarot, spells, wands, etc. It's not just a shop. They hold workshops, seances, ghost hunts, paranormal investigations and even birthday parties. When we went in, we thought it was just a shop but then we were taken around and shown the different rooms from the basement (where there is paranormal activity) to a couple of more pleasant (!) rooms at the back where they do scrying and seances. If you don't believe in the paranormal, check it out! If you do, check it out! In this small walkthrough you can find quirky shops (like Cornucopia), a traditional sweet shop, Clinton's card and many more. The only slight warning is that if it has been raining outside the floor can be incredibly slippy, even with the carpets by the entrances, so you should take extra care.
