You can see the shore from the sidewalk seating and window tables inside. Food was better than expected. Standard breakfast and sandwich café menu, although fairly limited. I really enjoyed my mango chicken salad and their homemade aioli dressing was sweet and went perfectly with the cashews and red onions mixed in. Coffee was also quite good. My partner's BLT looked a bit boring but was stacked with heaps of bacon, so good value there. Good food, great atmosphere, cute decorations, friendly service, and a scenic setting - what more can you ask for from a small ocean town café?

It is a beautiful place to sit, and as I said that the food is good. I ordered the veggie platter for breakfast, and it was great... it honestly didn't sound special, but everything on was fantastic. The beans are amazing - homemade and delicious. And the cherry on top of the veggie cake was the banana bread, fantastic! The only downfall was the coffee. Average. Drinkable, but not good. Usually I can't walk away from a place until have a couple of cups, but after one cup I was done - which means something. But ignoring the coffee, come for the food. So I was going to give this place 3 stars because of the coffee, but the staff are so friendly and so helpful that I have to give this place 4 stars.

The atmosphere was great, with comfortable lounges and nice decor. The staff were nice, attentive and helpful with order selection. There is a large selection of wines and beer if you wish to drink. The most important thing that needs mentioning is the food. It was perfect. Quite possibly the best food i have had in my life. We ordered 2 tapas dishes, an entree and a main, the main was an accident (our fault) and we didn't intend on getting it, but we are very glad we did. The two tapas options we had were tempura prawns and the meatballs. The tempura was cooked perfectly, the prawns were delicious and not undersized with a delicious sweet sauce that accompanied the dish very well. The meatballs were amazing, they fell apart in your mouth. With a nice tomato sauce then on top a yogurt mint sauce they were a pleasure to eat. The entree we ordered was the gnocchi ragu with slow cooked beef cheek. The best gnocchi we have ever had. It was amazingly soft and delicate and the sauce was rich and hearty, superb for a cold evening. The succulent beef cheek dissolved on the plate and was complimented by enticing polenta and sweet potato. The price was not high enough for the quality of food that came out of the kitchen. All in all we had an amazing time and will be going back again.
