He has taught us so much about money, and has really assured us that we can achieve our goals. My husband and I are both risk adverse hard-workers. We always err on the side of caution, while trying to align things to our own personal beliefs. Here are the best things about working with Ryan for almost three years: - He takes on the work of researching and organizing information for major purchases and life events. You describe your wants, needs, and concerns, and he can help guide you towards the best decisions for your family financially. He put things in visuals and charts! - He is very understanding. Personally, I don't want to invest in things that have to do with guns or war. He ensure this. - He knows a lot about trends and long term things. He's been a well-trusted financial planner for years. I trust professionals over myself in most situations, and your money is definitely something that could use a professional's opinion. Ultimately, he presents information in a non judge mental manner for you to make your own decision, but I appreciate his knowledge. - Flat Fee. That's it. He is a fiduciary and he's in the business of helping you make the right decisions. If you're on the fence, try it (if it's financially something that works for your budget and lifestyle). This is the opinion of a non financial planner investment person.

From the moment we connected, Earl was incredibly generous with his time, spending a full hour walking through our unique financial situation in detail. He took the time to truly understand where we're at, asked thoughtful questions, and offered a wide range of insightful recommendations tailored specifically to us. What really stood out was his ability to clearly explain technical terms and concepts that had confused us for years. By the end of the call, we felt more confident and informed than ever before. To our surprise, Earl didn't charge us for this initial session, which speaks volumes about his character and commitment to helping people. When we asked about his rates moving forward, we found them to be very reasonable, and we absolutely plan to return once we've implemented his advice. You can easily tell once you meet with Earl that he is genuine, highly knowledgeable, and truly cares about the people he works with. If you've been considering working with a financial advisor, we highly recommend giving him a call. He's an incredible resource and a wealth of information.

Not only is Joe an experienced, reputable financial advisor, but his staff is equally skilled. His upright character and masterful communication skills builds trust that has translated to $$$ for our family. My husband works for a very demanding international corporation that is draining his energy and "life" (as he puts it). We stay only for the health insurance. Joe helped us to find a solution and plan for an early retirement that will probably save my husband years of strife. Although my husband is 60 and still working, he is able to work knowing what to expect when he retires early, and now has the confidence to do so with the help of Joe. He also facilitated our relatively new marriage to transition from separate, non-disclosed, finances to transparency and merging our financial goals not only for our financial future but for a healthy marriage. And finally, not only did Joe increase our portfolio by several thousands of dollars but he did it by listening to our needs and wants and dreams, and partnering with us to build a solid financial future for our family. I have recommended Joe to many friends and family and he has exceeded all expectations.

After having several nightmare experiences with financial advisors in the past, I can't express…read moreenough how glad I am to have found Carrara! What initially stood out to me about Shival was how personal the entire experience felt. I never felt like I was simply being handed a standard investment strategy or treated like another account. He and his team took the time to understand my financial situation, my goals and priorities, and what I was actually trying to accomplish long term. As a Physician hoping to own my own practice one day, Shival custom-built a portfolio around that goal. He comes from a background in investment banking and hedge funds on Wall Street and it's clear in that he's always looking several steps ahead rather than simply reacting to what's happening in the market in current time. Have one convo with him and you'll see he's the most calm, cool, & collected fella out there. Because of his background, he's very good at breaking things down without making you feel talked down to. I always leave our conversations feeling like I understand not only what we're doing, but why we're doing it. Another major positive has been his responsiveness. When I have a question or something comes up, I know I can text him at any time (day or night!) and will get a thoughtful response. I don't feel like I'm chasing someone down or waiting weeks to get an answer. Most importantly, I trust Shival (and Tara and the whole team). They never make financial decisions feel intimidating, and I never feel pressured into doing something I don't understand. Instead, he walks me through the options, provides me with pros/cons, and helps me make informed decisions. I would absolutely recommend Carrara/Shival to anyone looking for a wealth advisor. The biggest thing for me is that I don't feel like I'm simply working with a financial company - I feel like I have an actual advisor who knows me and understands my situation, my goals, and is helping me build a thoughtful long-term financial strategy.
