To begin with they are not very responsive to phone calls or emails. They get back to you when they get around to it. The only way we could communicate with them was to set up an appointment at their office, which generally involved a minimum of 1 1/2 hours with them. After SEVERAL such appointments, we discovered the travel insurance we were told was purchased, had not been. We needed to cancel our cruise because of family illness and lost thousands of dollars. The travel agent, who we trusted to finalize the insurance, never did and never let us know that she had not. Do not use or trust the competence of these people!!!

If you visiting or passing thorugh Jonesborough, you owe it to yourself to stop at the visitor's center.

There were two ladies that the counter that were helpful in getting us the information we needed. They have a decent sized private parking lot and a free museum inside with artifacts from the area. There's also a gift shop with handmade items and books for sale. Would highly recommend stopping here first before touring Tennessee's oldest town!
