So, the price is never the price right? Stuck in the "old times" for sure. I came in really excited. It was towards the end of the day for them and the woman seemed already frustrated. I didn't want to compromise her time so I asked if it it was ok to do a session now or if I should come tomorrow, but she wasn't sure if she was going to even open. Seems to be common around Helen that they don't stick to operating hours, they just open when they feel like it a lot of the times because its a small town. So call ahead everywhere! :) the outfits aren't full outfits. They don't have backs to them. I wasn't given shoes so, I just have fish net feet in the photo. The whole thing I kid you not, took about 3-5 mins. I picked one photo and that was additional $15 and additional for the mat. I opted not for the glass frame to save money. They don't give you the digital copies with your purchase which I didn't like. I get that a regular photo session costs money but for a 5 min session, no make up, no hair and being rushed through, this was not worth the cost. I made the best of it. She definitely knew the right poses to put us in which u appreciated but, that's the fastest $60 I've ever spend. lol. The costumes and experience needs some updating. Especially with AI competing. I love a real photo shoot and this was very thrown together. No one was mean but, I certainly felt like a burden. read more

It was very unfortunate and unpleasant to be told that one of the members of our group had a bad odor and they could not service our needs, since the clothes need to be wear by other people. Lady was super rude and racist. The place was empty and her customer service sucks. It's very unfortunate to find people with such bad manners. We had 5 kids (oldest 10) and they heard the whole conversation- when we came out- the first thing mentioned was, but we showered- - horrible experience. they got one star because that is as low as you would allow. what seemed to be the owner or manager was extremely rude to several couples that came in while we waited. she over heard me say we wanted to kinda do a scene like "American Gothic", the art work of a farmer and wife. she rudely exclaimed, we don't do gothic! then began telling other customers that "that's where they wear all black clothing. I laughed as I showed the photographer an image. the rude lady came over and said let me see. them once again exclaimed , "we don't have those cloths. We went for photos which we have for every year for the last 13 years. i have never encountered an employee who was so nasty/ rude in my life than i did today. i wish i knew her name and would post it to warn others, but to go and pay all that money for photos, without even being a problem, to be spoken to the way this lady did was insane!!! we spoke before we started to do 3 different transactions due to us having 3 different scenes and it was no problem. All of a sudden, we go to pick out our photos and pay and the employee started talking so much smack about us doing this, even though we were told before that this is how it needed to be. The photos shown on the wall with the cute outfits are misleading; the place does not have those outfits for women but instead has old,tattered outfits. The girl working took us 3 girls back & didn't even have us sort through outfits but just handed us each one which didn't fit two of us, and she just walked off without asking if they were okay. We ended up choosing to NOT have the photos taken. The girl also charges a "$3 dressing fee" which makes no sense since she didn't help us dress, she literally handed us outfits & that was all, didn't know that should cost extra? read more

This place is under new ownership and management. The owners are a husband/wife team and they are so wonderful. We walked by a couple times while in Helen and finally decided to pop in and try it out with our 5-year-old daughter. It was a super friendly vibe and atmosphere, and they were so good with our little girl. She had so much fun dressing up in all the props, and there were many, many fun options to choose from when selecting your perfect outfit. They did lots of poses and let us pick and choose whatever props we wanted to try out. No appointment is necessary. We walked right in! We printed out numerous photos, had them all matted and two of them framed all for an extremely reasonable price. They had a great selection of adorable mats and frames they really complemented the photos. This was a no-pressure situation. I felt zero obligation to buy anything other than the 8X10 that came with the sitting fee. It was such a great memory for us, and I would love for this to be a stop for us every time we vacation in Helen. Stopped by yesterday on our second trip to Helen. We decided to go in, and I'm glad we did! Kimberly was amazing, engaging and overall funny. Patient as I'm soooo finicky. She assisted me with the outfits, dressing both myself and hubby and she understood what I didn't/did want to show and that I wanted to keep it classy. The photos came out really good and Kimberly understood that we could not afford to get the frames and worked with us. We received a discount with the sets that we brought. I'm really happy with them. We brought my own frames and hanged them up on the wall in our home. They look amazing, we look really good. She did a fantastic job. Not only that, on our way back we stopped in to say goodbye, and she realized that I did not have all of my pictures so I'm glad we stopped, as she was watching through the glass, attempting to reach us. Overall I recommend this place I've always wanted to take pictures like these I never could, nor had the opportunity to, and I'm glad we stop by. W e really recommend this place! read more

The woman that works here is cantankerous and unpleasant. For the duration of our stay she was condescending and cold. The many rude signs on the wall attest to the fact that she is unprofessional and does not care about her customers. We left unsatisfied with the quality of our photo as well as upset because we were muscled into buying a second photo despite only wanting one.
