As a side note, I learned the game of golf on this very course as a child, and we always came for Christmas to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. I was never much for golf myself, but I enjoyed the environment and amenities growing up, and the atmosphere still holds up to this day. Back to the here and now, the service was spot on. The food was presented quickly (buffet style), and refilled until everyone was satisfied. Water refills? Check. Friendly staff? Check. The potatoes were some of the best I've had, and the green beans were cooked just right. The meatloaf was a bit dry, but covered in gravy so not a big issue. The only downside was the fried chicken which seemed underdone to me, But others enjoyed it so maybe I picked the wrong leg. The bathrooms are always clean here, and the fancy hand towels feel like a luxury in the era of "thinner is cheaper" paper towels that disintegrate before your hands are dry. Overall it's still a nice club and a lovely venue for parties. If your unsure you can book a tour, so it's worth a look.

The kids even had some mac and cheese, chicken tenders and French fries. The food was decent, but not anything above what you'd expect at a country club. I liked it and came back for seconds. There was an open bar with a decent selection of wine and cocktails, along with beer. The bartenders and servers were fast and friendly. And the space was beautiful and open with windows allowing for mostly natural light to illuminate the space. They had seat cushions on the chairs and decorations were excellent. The course is pretty forgiving, but the greens can be challenging if caught in the wrong spot. The weather was great and the course in good condition for this time of year. Everyone we encountered was great to deal with and our group had lots of fun on the course. We teed off in the morning and never encountered any delays, nor did we have anyone pushing us from behind. The best surprise out on the course was their cart girl, Bailey... she was fabulous and made the rounds to our group several times. Even partaking in some pranks on our foursome that she was put up to, by our group ahead of us... She was a true sport and made our round, and the day, at Cary CC memorable! Shout out to Bailey!!

We went on a Tuesday at 1230ish and ended around 5 for an 18 hole round of golf. We literally waited 10-15 minutes at each hole for the next 2-3 groups in front of us. Yes, I put 2-3 groups... SMDH. Players here also DONT have proper etiquette. Group in front waiters until the group in front of them was completely off the green to even start. Group behind us hit when we were waiting for the group in front, nearly missing us by a couple feet (didn't yell fore either). Don't expect to have a good/fun time here. Find somewhere else.
