I was in need of flower pots and plant stands. I knew Olde Time Pottery would be the spot. This store is a gigantic, no frills warehouse full of all things for your home. Not only did they have thousands of pots in all color, sizes and styles, they had at least 40 different varieties of plant stands. Do you need silk flowers, wreaths, trees or vases? They've got them! Wall decor, table decor, patio sets, patio umbrellas, brooms, mops, cookware, glassware, utensils, dish sets and individual dishes, toys, rugs, mats, clocks, seasonal decor.... the list of their goods seems endless! Don't even get me started on holiday decor! I found a small casserole dish to match some dinnerware I have and a few cute coffee mugs I couldn't resist. Great store with great prices! read more

They've got everything you would want or need to fill your house with decorations, kitchen ware, storage containers, mirrors of different sizes and styles and all kinds of home decor items. They have sales a lot and are affordable. Just wish there wasn't only one and only in Marietta. read more

The store could have been in better shape, but I was mostly annoyed that when I went to take the price tag off for a gift, a lower price tag was hidden underneath. Of course, I was charged the higher price. It was only a dollar more, but I won't be shopping there again. read more

When it comes to outdoor furniture and accessories, they can't be beat. I had some high priced Hampton Bay cushions on my wicker rockers on my front porch. They were so faded and ugly so I went to OTP. I bought 2 cushions in the pattern Clemons Noir. They have been on my rockers, in full afternoon scorching sun, every day since then, and that was before the pandemic so it was more than 2 years ago, I'm thinking at least 3. I was in the store recently and they still have the pattern and I realized my cushions still look new. They have not faded one bit. They are thick, soft, and the price is great compared to other stores. I've bought cushions for other chairs since then. I only buy cushions at OTP now. read more

Old Time Pottery no longer offers military discounts. Unfriendly cashier rudely tells you and no apology offered. Hobby Lobby is my go to store now. Even without discount at Hobby Lobby the quality of merchandise and cleanliness of store is more attractive. read more

My aunt spoke highly of this place and yes she was right.You can go into this store and easily spend a quick $100.They have tons of stuff to choose from and all of their items are at a decent price. Bad part about this, I was told this is the only location in GA. I will make that drive again to this store. Old Time Pottery is a great store with loads of bargains to be found. My first experience at an Old Time Pottery was down in Destin a few weeks ago and did not realize they had one in Georgia until we found the one in Marietta, kind of surprised there aren't more stores around the metro area. This particular store isn't as nice as the one in Destin, but it does have some great deals on stuff. We went into look at the curtains and were able to find just the curtains we needed at half the price we would have paid at Wal-Mart or another retail chain. read more

This place is my jam for about 70% of my home decor. All sorts of cool and unique pieces. As a recently single guy, I decided after years of neglecting my home, it was time to update most of the furnishings! Old TIme Pottery blessed me things like modern wall decor, to garden items, to paintings. The outdoor cushion selection right now is mind numbingly huge, two massive aisles of choices. I've been frequenting this store since around 2014. A few items to be aware of is not every item is perfect, be sure to check for cracks/chips/missing stuff on them, especially the wall decor stuff, so you don't buy a dud. There are some 'hidden gems' I've found, such as a couple of beautiful Thomas Kincaide paintings that were clearenced for like 5 bucks, that were worth around $50. You need to know a little about what you are looking at to find these sort of deals...usually tucked behind other items or on high up shelves..do a little digging! Just put the stuff back where you found it : ) The quality of the items are overall good, I've got a metal "R" intial on the front of my home for 3 years that hasn't faded or cracked. However other items, like a "Turkey" shaped garden stake, rusted after about 2 weeks out in the weather. It's generally hit or miss. I'm sure they have a massive amount of suppliers but the turkey thing was 5 bucks and I got my use out of it for thanksgiving. That's the good stuff! The bad stuff: The shopping strip/parking lot is supremely outdated, I'm certain Noah's Ark was parked here at some point. There is a middle school virtually a few blocks behind the store so during afterschool times I've seen kids loiter the lot up-to-no-good. So don't park your $50,000 corvette here. The staff-- being generous here, but overall the staff is kind. However 9/10 visits you get the vibe the staff absolutely hate their job. My recent trip, this lady was too lazy to apply the 10% coupon to my most expensive item (Almost $200!) because "it wasn't the last item that rang up", so instead I got $6 bucks off another item. Normally they bag up your items/artifacts but this cashier's mind was on another planet. She bagged nothing and expected me and my mother (aka my interior designer) to leave. This was a one off but should be mentioned, you will know who I am talking about if she's still there when you go to review. No smile, no thank you, just not very engaging : ( A majority are not like this, they are nice and always glad to help! Certainly worth a trip if you need home stuff! read more

Love it when the holiday season comes around and I make my way over to OTP :-) They always have such a HUGE selection and fantastic deals! Now, don't get me wrong, this is not just a place to come when you need to fancy up your crib for the holidays. They have a gigantic selection of housewares, craft items, bedding/bath, rugs, kitchen, organizational items, and even animal stuff! The prices are very inexpensive. Make sure that you have the time to roam through there very large store. Don't skip isles!!! You may miss that perfect must have! Only downfall is they tend to not have many cashiers, so you may have to wait a bit. read more

Most of the items I have from this store are cheaply made or are "seconds" that are flawed. They are not priced accordingly and are stickered at full price. My primary complaint is that the store is open on Thanksgiving day, negating the time for employees to be with family. DOLLAR STORE QUALITY, QUESTIONABLE PRICING! I frequented this store when it was located in Duluth, along Pleasant Hill Drive. However, it has been closed for several years and this is the only location that is remotely close to me. I am working on some landscaping projects so I am looking for a specific planter. I decided that I would check Old Time Pottery for options. This store is chocked full of a little bit of everything for the home and garden. They have framed art, patio furniture, rugs, lamps, linen bedding, kitchen supplies, garden stakes, planters and a variety of other objects. Here's the problem, much of what they have is just poor quality or in poor condition. For example, they have zero gravity lounge chairs for the same price as those at Sam's. Yet they are very cheap, (thin material, sitting low to the ground, not secure) and don't even come close to the ones carried by Sam's. I honestly can't imagine these lasting for a season, yet the ones I purchased from Sam's four years ago are in perfect condition, (despite taking a beating during the summer months). Their planter selection was very limited and some of the items were damaged or had lost their coating. I did appreciate the over-sized patio pillows in beautiful summer colors. I have grown tired on the little cheap pillows that are very small and just not large enough to replace quality cushions. They had some really nice patio furniture but some of the prices just seemed out of wack. Those cool metal rocker chairs that they have for $100 are $80 at At Home, (formerly Garden Ridge). At Home has a much larger inventory, with better quality and better pricing. read more

The name is SO wrong. Basically think everything for seasonal decor and/or parties. Along with a good bit of kitchen ware thrown in, tons of glassware especially. As such -- right now the place is overrun with Christmas decorations, do-dads, jim-crackery, etc. Trees, lights, wreaths -- you name it. Otherwise, a perfect excuse to drop by would be setting up a vacation or rental property with the basics and some style, or someone's first apartment. Not much in the way of merchandising or presentation however, your eyes will soon cross at the sheer volume of things. Store is HUGE. read more

Love this place! Their pottery selection is good (it used to be a lot better but for what you get, there are some seriously good prices). The sheet sets are nice and you can find a really good quality thread count. They sell out quickly so go back often to get the ones you want. The discount fabric is great!!! Visited the store in Marietta, GA off of Canton Road today. In the past two weeks, I've spent HUNDREDS off dollars decorating my house. Today, while purchasing again, an employee by the name of Erwin (or something similar - about 60ish w/ glasses) was rude for THE SECOND time now. Rude and flippant - what I don't understand is how or WHY some people work in customer service. Ridiculous. Even the cashier agreed to hearing the first time he was rude, she stated she remembered (of course she should because I've visited the store at least 3-4 times in the past two weeks). Asked/Called for store manager - he was unavailable. As a person who has managed teams in the past, I would be embarrassed to have employees such as this one. You can believe my days of visiting multiple times a week is over. read more

This store has a lot for your home! Many seasonal decorations, floral, lights, etc. Basics like baskets, laundry baskets, hampers, totes for organizing. Prices are very reasonable! Pricing beverage ware for a Sweet 16, we found we could purchase attractive glasses here for less than we could rent and return them. In fact, we could purchase attractive glasses here for less than it would cost to buy plastic glasses. Plastic would have been less attractive and carried a higher risk of spilt drinks due to its lack of substantive weight. The prices are worth the drive. read more

A good place to find cheap kitchen gadgets, plastic cups, Tupperware type stuff. Linens are cheap looking so I'll get small towels and wash clothes just because mine never last long anyways so I don't see the need to spend a small fortune on them. They are usually the place I go to when I need an off the wall kitchen gadget that I don't want to pay a lot for. And then when we checked out, the clerk gave me a coupon for 20% off my next visit. The next day we headed to Wilmington NC and wouldn't ya know, there's an OTP there too, we had another rainy day, so of course I had to use my 20% coupon!! I have never had such a rude cashier! I wanted to return an item that was 50% off and I had not seen the all sales final sign. I asked if store credit was a possibility and you'd think I had asked for the moon! She rudely told me there was a sign at every register (which I later noticed was upside down at the register I had gone through). Everything in her curt tone, language and behavior said she did not want to issue the credit, but she did it anyway. I would have much preferred a polite "I'm sorry, but no" to such a rude "I don't want to, but yes". I quickly used my credit and will not be going back. read more

I was in the store on Canton Hwy about 1pm today... cruised the isles repeatedly and finally found 2 pcs of wall art for a bathroom we just painted after years of wallpaper. The color scheme is completely different, hence new wall art. When I went to check out, there was only 1 cashier and the cashier was up to her elbows in wrapping up a purchase for the person in front of me. The cashier apologized and said she had to wrap All of the items but would call for help to check me out. Note: there were 4/5 employees chatting in the back were I just came from - didn't think anything of it at the time because I Thought the nice cashier would be able to get some help for a Paying Customer, but NO... that, apparently was not going to happen. I thanked the nice cashier and left all my items (I was going to purchase more than what I came in for, wink - wink ) on a shelf near the front. I do not mind a wait because I work for a retailer also and know how they have cut back and stretched the workers on the floor; but this was above and beyond disrespect to a customer. I told the nice cashier that I would be back and laughed at that and said, now you know I am never come back... right?
