They have quite a collection to choose from. The range of home decor items are beautiful and varies in styles as well. The shop occupies nearly all of the original Chichizola store that was built in 1877. The building has two feet thick foundation walls and steel doors. It served as the town's first general store. Many years later, the Antonini family purchased the store. They converted part of it into a feed store and the now garden area was a gas station. Meaning that if you're the avid collector of quirky one-of-a-kind treasures, this would be the ideal spot for you to check out. I will say that this location is in a very industrial area of Rancho Cordova as they are directly on Mercantile Dr and tucked in between Trade Center Dr and Folsom Blvd. Parking is as simple as you can imagine since this is a very desolate area surrounded by unmarked warehouses in all directions. I also wanted to say that they do have limited hours only being open Thursday-Sunday from 10am-6pm while being closed Monday-Wednesday. I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 3/7/2026 at around 3:00pm. There were only a few cars parked in front which gave me the impression the majority of those were employees vehicles. Upon entry, I was greeted by a gentleman at the main entrance. I will say that this place is quite huge with aisles and aisles of products that include kitchenware, jewelry, home decor, crafts, books, clothing, crafts, toys, handmade items, furniture, collectibles, dolls, and much more. Just about everything for sale is new and/or near-new with many items that are decades old while being distributed through the vendors. I will say that the prices are definitely on the higher end of the spectrum but as I mentioned, everything is unique and distinctive. Since I already stated the positives, I will tell you some of the negatives. During my visit which was from 3:00-3:45pm, I was literally followed by several employees. I get that they want to completely minimize shoplifters but I could see the staff giving me the stare down in the corner of my eye. This completely tarnished the overall image of my shopping experience as I am someone that doesn't like to be watched when taking my time to shop. Needless to say that I didn't buy anything but just in case you want to visit this business, that was my firsthand experience of what to expect. Finally, if the Rancho Cordova location is too out of the way, Bliss Marketplace also has locations in Midtown Sacramento (27th/R St's) as well as Roseville Square (Douglas/Harding Blvd) with the same hours of operation. They also follow the season/time of year as my visit (which was in early-March) had a lot of Easter and springtime decor. I am sure it gets very festive during the fall and Christmas season. With a nice variety of goods combined with a convenient quiet location but just okay service, I am giving the Rancho Cordova "Bliss Marketplace" an above average four star rating.

On her 50th business anniversary, the town celebrated her and installed a plaque in front of her shop to commentate the anniversary. It is quite a feat to be in business for that long. But as you look around her shop, you can begin to realize why. I knew I was in a retail shop but at times I felt I was in a museum. She has a great sense and keen eye for beautiful antique items that have universal appeal. There were vintage quilts, pieces of antique lace and embroidered items, dresses, hats. buttons, jewelry, baby clothes, curling irons, child's doll house, and lots of other things all for purchase. The shop is clean and has a modern feel. The inventory is beautifully displayed. Items I found interesting and got museum feels from were the wedding dress display (there were dresses from each decade from 1900-1940s) and the lace display. There was a board that displayed the various types of lace, knitting, and embroidery; next to each sample was written info about the method and history.
