A set of three tiny spray bottles of one brand I like (though can't remember now what brand). Well, I got home and THEY WEREN'T SPRAY BOTTLES! I checked the box: yep, says they're spray bottles. So I tried to return them, which I thought would be simple because it was within 24 hours, I had the receipt, there was a clear discrepancy between what the box advertised and what was inside---but no. Absolutely would not give me a refund OR exchange, and they weren't very polite about it, either. Treated me as if I'd done something wrong, or underhanded!

From what I saw the assistant manager was on her phone when I walked in and some of the other workers were too. I've been to this location multiple times and if you asked me to pick the manager out of the regular sales associates I couldn't. He did not act professional and seemed annoyed when I had a question. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was just legitimately uncool. There were a couple very kind sales associates who I did speak too. But from what I have not only seen but heard from others who have shopped here is that the manager is very unprofessional and acts like he is 16 instead on a grown adult. Maybe if they replaced or retrained management on how to act with customers or even their own employees this location would improve

There are always awesome deals going on, and while I didn't plan on maybe actually getting anything the last time I went in, I walked out with some really good finds. Tanks were buy one get TWO free (yeah, you heard me right; totally not a typo). The staff greeted me in a really friendly manner when I came in and were extremely helpful--maybe too helpful!!--with pointing out all of the mermaid things they'd just gotten in. There's a whole table in the middle of the store that is filled with all things mermaid and unicorn. One of the girls even found a mermaid crown and hair jewelry (not really sure what else to call it?) that were really amazing. Currently rocking the red hair, I can totally pull off the Ariel look with the right makeup. One of the cute girls working in the store (I really wish I knew her name, because she was an amazing sales person!) went around the with me, making it so much easier to find everything. If there's one complaint I have about Hot Topic, it's that you really have to sift through everything to find something, especially the shirts along the walls on racks. She wasn't pushy, and I felt like I was shopping with one of my best friends. Even when it came time to the ring out and I was pre-approved for a Hot Topic credit card, she handled it perfectly without pushing it on me. Super awesome experience, and she was incredibly sweet even though we'd come in not too long before the store was closing. As I was checking out she even told me it was fun hanging out with me. We were able to browse the different varieties in the men's' section, but really needed someone to do his measurements so he could place the custom order. It took a good while for someone to notice us and then also be willing to come talk with us. The lady who did come over was pretty aggressive in her sales pitch-saying that the pricing we saw was going to change after tomorrow, so we'd better hurry and buy. It felt a little icky, and we ended up not buying a suit. I wonder if it's true that in-person shopping is really dwindling. Service seems to have gotten apathetic and the furnishings in the store were abysmal (see the picture of the horribly beat up chair in the men's section.) For the higher-end clothing that this store carries, I'd love to see the rest of the experience elevated to match what customers may expect.

Recently I've noticed that the styles are trending to a juvenile market. They used to be geared more to a mature, affluent and fashion forward set. ESPECIALLY in Utah. I purchased a pair of shoes that unfortunately did not fit. Before buying this pair, I had purchased a smaller size when it was not marked as Final Sale. I returned that pair and purchased a half size larger, expecting it to fit better. However, the larger size was not only longer but also much wider, making the shoes look oversized and uncomfortable on my feet. I explained the situation to the store manager, Annabelle, hoping she would make an exception given the circumstances. I wasn't trying to break the Final Sale policy--I genuinely expected the larger size to fit because I had already exchanged from the smaller size. Unfortunately, she completely ignored my explanation, showed no empathy, and made no effort to help. She didn't even smile or try to have a respectful conversation. I was left feeling like she simply wanted me to leave the store. I shop at this Anthropologie location and online almost every week, and this experience was completely different from what I've always received in the past. The previous managers and associates were always friendly, professional, and provided outstanding customer service. This was the first time I've ever felt so disappointed. Policies are important, but great managers also know when to listen to loyal customers and handle situations with kindness and professionalism. Sadly, that was not my experience today. If you're purchasing Final Sale items, especially shoes, be very careful. Even if you are simply exchanging for what you believe will be the correct size, you may not receive any flexibility if the fit is completely different.

The difference between this location and the Foothill Village location is astonishing. The…read moreemployees at the Foothill location are always so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make my visit to their store pleasant. A few months ago, my husband was with me at the Creekside location and was standing outside the dressing rooms holding my purse. One of the women there rudely asked him what he was doing there. He was nicely dressed and neatly groomed and it embarrassed him. He politely told her that he was waiting for me while I was trying on clothes. She didn't bother to apologize. It wasn't rocket science, he was holding a purse in a clothing store waiting for his wife. He didn't tell me this until we were home, which is probably a good thing. I called the district manager about it, and apparently he didn't find it necessary to fire this rude woman because she is still there. I avoided this store for quite a while but I was in the area and went back a few days ago because it was the first day of their big sale. Nothing there has changed. The women there do not greet you when you walk in, my shoulder was about to break before anyone offered me a dressing room and when I got to the checkout, one of the women made it very clear that she was much too busy to help me so she sent me to a woman named Nancy. Nancy was impatient and unfriendly and rude. I was trying to look at the tags and she very bluntly told me that she would take care of it. She charged me too much for one of the blouses, but I'm not going back there to show her the error. I was trying to talk to her, but I couldn't hear her because the rude lady who told me she was too busy to help me was yelling numbers and information to another woman across the store. Really? This couldn't wait? The Foothill store wraps your purchases neatly in tissue paper and asks if you would like boxes for any of the garments. Nancy shoved my garments in a bag like they do at Walmart. I have two sisters who live close to that Chico's and have had similar experiences and now drive to the Foothill store. I would suggest that the Creekside ladies learn some manners and customer service from Susan, Linda, and the other ladies at the Foothill store.
