I chose a spa cabin, a little bit more expensive than the standard but still excellent value and the jacuzzi was enormous! The rooms were terrifically well appointed and quite by far the most reasonably priced luxury we've enjoyed in a long time. I booked our accommodation online. Its location (ten minutes walk from the train station) is perfect, right on the Crescent Terrace on the West Cliff. Our room was the Classic Bay, spacious, light and comfortable with a great view of the North Sea. The owners, the Gallaghers, were gracious hosts, friendly and very accommodating of our requests and our needs (we left very early on our last morning, prior to breakfast, but they provided a very satisfying boxed meal. Breakfasts are a special treat, with a variety of choices, tasty food properly cooked and politely served by the attentive waitstaff. I should also mention that the price is quite competitive, also. For a three-night stay, they offer a discount of 5%, so ours was 95 pounds per night ($147). All in all, a real treat!!
