what a beautiful showroom and friendly knowledgeable staff. My experience from start to finish ran very smoothly and the is was down to excellent service from both the showroom staff and installers. I would recommend Old Flames if you are looking to purchase a stove. read more

Really really poor. Went into showroom in Beverley, spent time with the staff member discussing our needs, he arranged to get in touch to visit our house to quote. No response. Left it two weeks and called, phone diverted left a message no response. Called at least on two other occasions (not leaving a message) no answer or phone diverted. Left it two more weeks sent an email, no response. Called two weeks later and finally spoke to someone who said they had no record of us visiting the store. Said they did not get the email and were not aware of any phone message. When challenged on how all of these could be missed the reply was they are very busy. I suggested that if they were too busy to look after customers I should look elsewhere to which the man said 'OK'. No apology for wasting our time, no attempt to recover the situation. I would never use this Company, I wouldn't expect them to be around for long with this attitude to running a business, or expect any support in the event of any issues. read more

Jackson E We have had excellent service with this company . We were made very welcome in the showroom and given great guidance to which stoves would be suitable for our needs .This was swiftly followed up with a home visit from the owner Nick and we further discussed the type of stove and made our choice with his advise . The visit was quickly responded to by email with costs of fitting flue and altering brick work to the chimney . Once our deposit was paid the stove arrived in store within the week and work commenced not long after to alter the chimney . this was then followed by the stove being connected . In total this took from our initial visit to finished installation 4 weeks and a very high standard of work was achieved with no mess left in their wake .. I would not hesitate to recommending them and we are soon going ahead with a second installation when our extension is completed . I give this 5 stars as it is well deserved read more

This is a member of the new team and owner at oldflamesofbeverley .We are asking that the bad review now be removed as the business is now under a new management team and desite asking for its removal through reporting it it still sits at the top of the listing .There may have been issues with the previous owners but how can we move forward if we can not address this .On other company reviews the older listing are not at the top of the list so why is this this was 2015 and the person who wrote that does not seem to even be an actual customer but someone who made an enquiry .In my opinion that in itself is suspect so could potentially be a competitor as there other fireplace shops around .Is it not in itself suspicious that they did not give up and try one of the others if the story is to be believed . I ask that this can be reset as this new OLD FLAMES OF BEVERLEY wishes it to be known that it is under new management read more
