I was really impressed with this store. I've been to several "country stores" over the years. This one might be in the top 3. A huge selection of product. Toys, housewares, apparels, seasonal decorations, books, candies, and so much more. There is quite a bit to look at. But the 4 stars comes from pricing. The best priced country gift shop I've ever seen. Very reasonable and you can actually shop. And it was actually nice to know that not everyone is here to rip off customers/tourists. I'd gladly stop back when I'm in the area. read more
Like the one I recently visited in Williamsburg, this "olde" time country store has a wide variety of items: tchochkes, kitchen gadgets, kids toys, candy, angels, rocks, candles, dip mixes, etc., but unlike the other store, this one's prices are reasonable, and the candle stink doesn't render you senseless as you cross the threshold. read more

This place is falling apart. Saw mice running around the floor and heard the (I assume) owner screaming her head off at her lone employee from across the store. Not exactly a welcoming atmosphere. The further back in the store you go the more cluttered it gets - I felt like I was in an episode of Hoarders. Pretty much the only positive thing I can say is that the one employee was very polite and helped me find what I was looking for and the prices are at least somewhat reasonable. Other than that, it's a poorly run tourist trap that isn't worth your time or money. I think I'll hold out for Yankee Candle next time I'm in Mass - not unknowingly buying expired candy or seeing a single rodent is worth the extra money. read more
