Booked a table 3 week in advance had email confirmation got all dressed up and a taxi from Pagham…read morearrived 5 mins early to find the restaurant full no reserved table 3other people waiting in the door way who had also booked. The staff were very rude looked at my booking and ignored us - I asked when would our table be available they said 10 minutes- 15 minutes later I asked again someone went of to check never came back - I asked again and was told don't know maybe an hour - we left NEVER to return we got another taxi back to Pagham total taxi cost of £40 and went to Spice Paradise where the staff know how to treat customers-BE WARNED YOUR BOOKING IS WORTHLESS!!!!

Formerly Papadum this restaurant claims to specialise in Nepalese and Indian cuisine. Although…read morerenamed they still use the Papadum ordering pads and paperwork. Curiously the menu of the former was more exotic then this one. I can see nothing on it that one would label 'Nepalese' except for one dish with radishes which was listed as a gurkha favourite . We ordered a takeaway and had the Royal Gurkha special which came in at a whopping £9.50. It was nice but all it was was a mixed kebab starter in a masala sauce. We also had a korma and a lasuni. The latter was listed as hot but it was not. Rice was generous and the naan breads tasty. Dahl too watery for my liking. All in all though it was very tasty

The staff are really friendly and more than able to cope with large groups (we were a group of 12 when we went). For starters try the chicken pakora, it has just the right balance of spice and flavour and for a main try the firey hot Chingri Madras which is a lovely hot prawn dish.
