Simone has created something remarkable. With over 20 years in early childhood education, a Master's in Early Childhood Education, and a background in psychology, she brings an incredible depth of knowledge to the school. But what impressed us just as much is how much she genuinely cares. She is constantly going above and beyond to create a magical experience not only for the children, but for the families as well. From community-building events and moms' and dads' nights out to thoughtfully curated classroom experiences, you can feel how intentional everything is. The curriculum is one of the school's greatest strengths. Rather than following a static program, each unit is child-led and immersive. During our time there, our daughter explored topics like architecture, airplanes, insects, and famous artists. She came home excited to tell us about Frida Kahlo, Yayoi Kusama, and Van Gogh, and her artistic abilities and confidence have flourished in ways we never expected at her age. Every theme feels carefully designed with hands-on experiences that make children genuinely excited to learn. Oftentimes parents are invited to shows ending the larger projects. The teaching staff deserves equal recognition. Simone has surrounded herself with educators who have dedicated themselves to early childhood education. They aren't simply hourly childcare workers--they are professionals who understand child development and clearly love what they do. We've been so grateful for the consistency, warmth, and enthusiasm of Astrid, Stephanie, and Jocelyn over the years. Seeing the same familiar, smiling faces each day gave our daughter wonderful continuity and helped create such a secure environment. One of the things we appreciated most was that the children are outside almost every day, regardless of the weather. It teaches resilience, fosters a love of nature, keeps them active, and encourages imaginative play in a way that's difficult to replicate inside four walls. We've never referred to Seasons as a daycare because that's simply not what it is. It is a preschool in the truest sense of the word; a place that nurtures curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. We feel incredibly fortunate that our family found Seasons. Our daughter has thrived there, and there isn't a stronger endorsement we could give than the fact that our younger daughter will be attending as soon as she's old enough.

Our kids are currently in 5th and 7th grades and have grown into confident, kind, and intelligent leaders. The school has been able to offer them an intimate learning environment with small classes and the most amazing and talented teachers. Kids are not only challenged academically but they also are able to go on unique, fun, and educational field trips. The school also has wonderful specialist classes like music, art, Spanish, PE and SEL (social emotional learning). The art shows, musical productions, and monthly showcases show how much the kids are thriving. They also have an incredible counselor and learning specialists who can help children with any additional needs. One of the best parts of Presentation is all of the public speaking opportunities kids get to really boost their confidence in front of an audience. Kids quickly become comfortable presenting in front of peers and adults which is so important for any future endeavors. After meeting with various kids (and speaking with their parents) who have graduated from Presentation, we know that kids are very well prepared for high school and feel grateful to have found this school. We have had nothing but an incredible experience there and would highly recommend this school to anyone with kids in grades TK-8.

I will say that it is an absolute honor and privilege being a former student and proud alum at "San…read moreRafael High School" (home of the "Bulldogs") for the entire four years I attended. Located on a 33-acre campus directly in between 3rd St and Mission Ave in the heart of central San Rafael, this high school was founded back in 1888. However, the current campus has been in place since 1924. From a geographical standpoint, I would have to say this high school is in the heart of Marin County with thousands of students that graduated while moving onto successful career paths. My personal journey at San Rafael High began in 1991 where I took a variety of required college preparatory classes that included English, US/World History, Geography, Mathematics, Foreign Language (Spanish/French), Government, Science, and Physical Education. I also took other various classes that included Home Economics (which covered cooking, money, & life skills), Woodshop, and during my tenure at the school, I was also part of a 10-watt non-profit radio station known as KSRH. All of these classes helped pave the way through a variety of unique courses to further advance my career development into college and beyond. As for the campus itself, it is quite large as the main focal point is the iconic administration building featuring grand columns that have a timeless and grandeur look to it. This is where assemblies, plays, and other various school events are showcased. There are several other standalone buildings that feature a large cafeteria, a dedicated drama/art area, and hallways with general studies. The rear part of the campus boasts a large track with football field, outdoor swimming pool, gymnasium, soccer field, and baseball fields. And for those "potheads", this was where the term '420' began back in the early 1970's. Also, if you watch the 1984 music video "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger, the majority of this video was filmed on campus. I will say that during my tenure at this high school, the entire curriculum was absolutely memorable and excellent. I was one that truly and genuinely enjoyed going to school since it was a wealth of information that I retained over the past few decades. All of my teachers were wonderful and helped me guide myself on the path to success. Furthermore, San Rafael High was the one high school where it was culturally diverse; not just with the students but also the teachers that come very all walks of life. During this stretch of my life, I got to meet a lot of amazing people whom I became close friends with and are still friends with to the present day. With that said, I am giving "San Rafael High School" a unanimous five-star rating.

So grateful and blessed we were referred and able to secure a spot. I only wish I found them when my son was 2 years old. I cannot say enough about Jonna and the ladies. They are the best!! My son adores his teachers and loves the friends he has made. He has been to several birthday parties. We went on a one week vacation. Mid vacation my son wanted to "go to preschool and play with his friends." What I love about Deuel's is how friendly and relaxed the ladies are. The preschool is run as a tight ship without unnecessary strict rules like other providers. They interact with parents where other providers keep it a business relationship. Life is all about relationships! They are lenient enough, yet firm when needed. I like how they allow kids to bring a toy each day. It teaches the children to share. My son especially enjoys taking a different toy each day. From 9am - 1pm they operate as a preschool. Pickups from the local elementary schools are offered. Daycare provided until parent pick up. Meals are provided. You simply cannot go wrong at Deuel's!!

At the time, I was a new mom, very apprehensive about returning to the workplace after staying home with my first born her first three years. Prior to finding Deuel's I had two short-lived previous negative experiences and almost gave up because nothing was more important to me than my child. Thankfully word-of-mouth (no social media back in those days) led me to this very safe and wonderful preschool; perfect for my high standards. Any worries we're alleviated quickly as Lea and her team demonstrated a level of care and nurturing equivalent to what my daughter was accustomed to. We ended up moving out of the area to a larger home in order to accommodate our growing family. After our move, when my second child reached 3 years old, I searched high and low for something similar to Deuel's but I was not successful because there's only one Deuel's Daycare/Preschool. I treasure my many memories of my daughter's years at Deuel's Daycare/Preschool and all of the very precious crafts she made during her time there. We still enjoy a plant she brought home in a tiny pot. We transplanted the plant into our new yard in our new home after it became too large after several transplants. Today the plant is thriving both in our back and front yards. Every time I water it, I'm reminded of Lea and Glenn Deuel and the entire team. It is apparent, Deuel's program helped set the stage for my child's success throughout her academic years and beyond. There's truth to the saying "it takes a village" especially given how very important those early years are in a childs development and I was so grateful we had the entire Deuel's team. Anyone looking for a wonderful, loving and properly structured program, look no further than Deuel's.
