It is open when many places close in between lunch and dinner, the tapas are nice and it's cheap. The tapas we had were not the best we've ever tasted but the service was friendly and considering the price I must say it was one of the better places we visited in Biarritz. I wouldn't mind spending several afternoons there and wish someone started something like this in Stockholm.

They will not give you drinks without food -- they said it was a licensing issue. So we ordered two cookies. I initially tried to order one, but they said both people had to order food. Well, the cookies were rock hard. Not very good, but maybe you don't come here for cookies:) I should have dunked them in the beer. The drinks were good, the service was good, and the place was hip. What we experienced was quite underwhelming, though I'm sure it's better when there's live music. The bartender was a little curt with us. We got a couple of wines that we didn't really care for, and a ham and cheese plate consisting of the most underwhelming and most expensive ham and cheese of our entire trip. We got out of there as fast as we could. I definitely would not go back.

The salad was quite uninteresting, couldn't really quite discern the idea behind this creation. The snails were a bit sandy and far too chewy/dry. Not my idea of how snails should be enjoyed. The duck breast with foia was cooked pretty spot on served with a potato-gratin and a skewer with mushrooms, peppers, squash. This was a very large piece of meat so we sorta regretted not just share one course. Anyway easily a four star dish but because of the salad a one star deduction. Service was very attentive and nice.
