It was the best decision we made because of this restaurant. We sat close to St. Eugene's cathedral to figure out where to eat lunch and came across several michelin starred restaurants and we decided to walk into this one. It was SUPERB! We are all about fine dining and this place was small, cozy, with amazing customer service and let me just get started with the food already... Btw, if you're thinking price, 27 Euro for a michelin star restaurant lunch menu was NOTHING, especially for the quality and experience of this place. If you had to choose, I'd say for two, each should choose different dishes to try most of the menu. The foie gras, raviole, the Cochon (pork), risotto with mushrooms, the French toast and the vacherin. All of them to die for! A MUST if you're going to Biarritz.

The salad was quite uninteresting, couldn't really quite discern the idea behind this creation. The snails were a bit sandy and far too chewy/dry. Not my idea of how snails should be enjoyed. The duck breast with foia was cooked pretty spot on served with a potato-gratin and a skewer with mushrooms, peppers, squash. This was a very large piece of meat so we sorta regretted not just share one course. Anyway easily a four star dish but because of the salad a one star deduction. Service was very attentive and nice. The local as such a bit dull. Prices absolutely ok.

The greens it was served with were very fresh and had a light dressing - duck breast (medium) with black cherry sauce natural.
