I love how much more luxurious it feels in here than any of the other places i've been to. I don't understand the mentality that everyone wants to shop at a "bargain basement" type of place. I like when it feels fancy to go shopping, even when i'm just buying groceries. This store is getting better all the time! Every time I go back the Gluten free section is getting bigger and bigger and the assortment varies a little more and more! I love all the really interesting products and unusual chicness that you can't find at any of the other ICA's, Coops or Willy's. This place feels more American! When your used to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and other supermarkets that take up several city blocks, it's nice to see such a refreshing variety of items come to Sweden. Things to check out while here: 1-The mexican/spanish food section! They've imported real Mexican foods you couldn't find in Sweden at all before!!! 2-The gluten free section is huge! 3-The specialty chocolates and gift items near the cashiers ;) 4- The large deli, tapas and salad bar 5- There's a big area of "American items" (a lot of it is 1980's processed foods, LOL! It's still nice to have though.) 6- The upscale restaurant inside! 7-The nice artisan meats and cheeses section There's only one thing I want this ICA to fix.... only one. The stinky bottle/can collection area! It sometimes can waft over and make the whole vegetable area stink. Have someone clean it much more regularly please!!!!!!

We shopped around, going to an ICA before finding this spot and it is now our go to grocery shop. It's a good big supermarket with large sections. It has a great meat counter and bakery section. It's got a lot of variety to choose from and I've been able to find pretty much everything I've needed here and at a reasonable price too! They have a large light beer section, much bigger than any other supermarket I've been in so far. It also is conveniently located next to a large Swedish off licence and fresh food market if your looking to get something special for dinner. I have taken away one star because of the layout and the restocking of goods. The layout of the tills is pretty annoying at times, not being in the location you enter. The other is the restocking of items.I needed a particular herb for a recipe but even though I returned 3 days in a row, it hadn't been restocked and I had to look for an alternative.

The website lists Väddögård as a supplier so my hopes were high for some locally sourced milk - all they seem to stock is Arla. A quick scan of the shelves revealed a decent assortment, nearly everything priced 3-15+sek higher than other supermarkets. I noticed a few interesting niche items, but prefer to treat myself to these things at Casa Warg or Urbandeli as the atmosphere reminds me of my past life in the UK and US. For the more reasonable prices and extra 10 minute walk, I will continue to due my food shopping on Söder. Having become a regular (15 min before closing!) shopper at Munkbrohallen, I have upped the 2 star rating to 4. Although not the place to purchase staple items as the prices are higher than a standard ICA/Coop, the fruit and veg specials alone are worth coming here. It is obvious they select what they buy at market so can offer better prices on what is often higher-grade produce. The in-store cooked roast-beef is the closest I have come to what the local butcher in my childhood town produced - Lean, not overcooked or salted. The staff are friendly and relaxed, and the coffee good too.

The fairly newly opened store is right be the station at Ârstadal and while it is fairly small they have used the space efficiently so the selection of food does to a large extent feel better or equivalent to the larger Hemköp. The main difference here is that everything feels fresh and that the selection of ecological products is also fairly extensive. The price level also feels fairly reasonable and while it is of course not the absolutely lowest prices I do not see any major difference with the larger ICA store at Liljeholmen mall. The staff are always available and seem service-minded. My main objections here are the lack of a good meat and fish selection. Of course probably due to the lack of space but it would often be the major reason for me going elsewhere to shop. The other thing that could be an issue is that there is only one manned cash register and then four automated ones in a fairly narrow exit area. This can cause lines when busy but on the other hand I have never seen long lines here.

Hands down my favorite grocery store in central Stockholm…read more Great produce section, PHENOMENAL meat/deli section (which is open as late as the rest of the store is, which is uncommon) and they even have chilled 1.5 liter coke bottles (which you usually only find in pizzerias, where they cost twice as much!) There's also a good number of helpful staff moving around the store, which is an underestimated form of service these days. Also, you can see on your receipt how much of what you paid was for environmentally friendly products! The one bad thing with Daglivs is the unpacked candy and "nature candy" section - they are both poor selections and/or knock-offs of the common favorites. For unpacked candy I suggest you head to Willys inside Västermalmagallerian. ...but for everything else, Coop Daglivs is your place!

You will find everything you need here, and probably more than that. They have a large meat and fish counter which would please even the most pampered customer. Further on, fruit and vegetables are fresh and overall most of the stuff is priced pretty well for the location. Dont miss their usual deals on meat and chicken. They often have some kind of special. Sometimes just for the sake and some other due to short use-by date. I always pass this section to see if i can find something of interest. It can be crowded during rush hours, but just go with the flow you will be fine. To dodge lines at the cashier I always use self-checkout. And there is no need to go crazy with a scanner while shopping. This is the real stuff, scan your groceries at checkout, pack it, and off you go! One other admirable thing is that they claim to match up valid coupons/vouchers from other stores, so you can get same price here. Never tried this, but its probably true and its got damn smart too...

When I was outside the store my first reaction was that it looks and feels like an old Coop store. That is perhaps not all bad but it did not excite me much. Right at the entrance of the store is a nice looking vegetable and fruit section but I was a bit surprised to see that not everything was ecological and when looking at the selection I right away noticed that both the selection and the prices were not at all as good as my local store (that is of course one of the best in Stockholm, Ica Liljeholmen). When I continued to browse around in the store it felt more and more as if this is about trying to show a nice surface - trying to get the hipster in the area to believe that all things in the store are ecological when in reality that is not the case. While the store is not bad the selection is surprisingly limited and I would have expected a lot more. I have seen the comparisons to Whole Foods and I can see that it has been an inspiration but this is a very pale copy of it. There is a food court upstairs that serve some burgers, pizzas, ice cream and salads. Pretty decent food, the burger was not bad just overpriced for what it is (95 SEK for just a burger and some crisps is a bit too much). I would have hoped that they would have gone for some better quality food and really some better ice cream (I struggle to see the greatness of Stikki as their ice cream is usually way too sweet and also lacks the proper ice cream texture). I do still however think that they are better than the average grocery store and hopefully they are looking to continue to improve things.

tl;dr - 1st & only Stockholm organic eco grocery store (I think). It's essentially a Whole Foods…read morerip-off but that's not a bad thing! I was expecting this place to be expensive as [expletive deleted] but it's not that bad. It's on the expensive end, yes, but ok enough to warrant coming here every now and then. The prices span from inner city Stockholm grocery store prices (which is expensive of course) to far on the expensive end for what I presume is hard to find eco stuff. Chicken breast file for example was super expensive and only available in one brand. It's one of my food pillars so City Gross will keep being my main supplier for that and numerous other things that were too expensive or hard to find at this eco store. The venue is nice and clean spanning 2 floors. Staff was friendly & pretty much everyone greeted me with a smile. The place had a mixed bunch of visitors as well - not just weird hippies and hipsters which I would've guessed. Need to work on my prejudices I think.. I also had a take away salad from the upstairs food court, which by the way is something I need to try soon as they have eco beers and burgers and whatnot. The salad, with a mixed base, beef and mixed seeds, nuts, berries topping was amazing! Lot of food, healthy and just the type of salad I dig 100%. It'll run you 115:- which definitely is on the steep end. If they'd lower the price to 100 I'd be prepared to give it a tie with For Friends for Sweden's best lunch salad. I see it's raining 5s over this place. It's not a 5 in my opinion, but a well welcome addition to Stockholm's sparse food fauna that I think people crave and thus rate it higher as it's unique. On a 10 scale, which would be perfect now, it's a solid 8, or 8.5 which is really, really good. I'm gonna give it a 4 here and it's definitely a strong one. For the 5 star rating it needs to be a bit cheaper so anyone, not just the more well off, can go here for day to day shopping and the selection could also be a bit better as noted above.

When I first moved here I did a tour of almost every ethnic grocery store in the city, looking for the foods I would have back home, and this place outshines them all! This is a really good place to stock up on nuts (great prices), good yogurt, beans and lentils, and spices. The produce section does leave a little to be desired, but maybe it just doesn't get the necessary turnover to allow them to keep fresh veggies in stock. The exception is the fresh herbs--you can buy big bunches of parsley, basil, mint, etc for much better prices than at a regular grocery store. Now if they just expand their Latin American section, I will be in grocery store heaven!

My regular grocery store which i visit several days a week…read more They have all groceries that i normally buy which means that i dont have to visit several other stores. Price is okey and they normally have some kind of "deal of the week" on meat or chicken which is great. They also have a salad bar where you pick your own ingredients, perfect if you want a fresh lunch or dinner to a great value. Go here early or late, they just changed their opening hours to 23:00 everyday which is perfect.
