I was coming back from a long evening walking tour and needed a snack on the way to the hotel. Lots of options here for snacks, I ended up choosing a small sandwich and a bottle of sparkling water. Extremely inexpensive and the fact that I speak no Swedish didn't matter. Watch the register and have your cash ready. And "sack" is easy enough to decline since they aren't free in most of Europe. Next to find yogurt. We found what appeared to be yogurt except that it was for cooking. We asked a staff worker who directed us to the correct section. All the staff were super nice. This is a cashless store. The register language can be changed to English. Bags for groceries costs extra so it is prudent to hand carry or have your own tote. It is clean, fairly well layed out. Packaging can be confusing for instance whole bean coffee feels like ground coffee. I like their bakery, particularly the bread that has dried cranberries. And get the French butter. I love the ICA fruit Museli and will take several package home. I wish the US sold filmolk but kevir is almost as good on the Museli. . I did not find Felix mango curry sauce. That has a mayonnaise consistency and is delicious on sandwiches or to dip in. Had to go to Hemkoff for that. Some stores require that you scan your receipt to exit. This store does not. That is a plus when you are either just looking or didn't find what you want. You likely will find nearly anything you want here. And checkout their bakery doughnuts. What a neat way of displaying them.

They did have a nice selection in terms of fresh produce, in many ways it felt like a farmers market and you could even make and ground your own almond butter through a machine but other than a small selection of this sort - there wasn't really much else which for a huge store was a little disappointing. I was disappointed with a lack of to-go food and stands here, making it different (and not in a good way) to similar department stores including Harrods, Marks and Spencer and Selfridges of London for example. I did find it hard to find a member of staff, compared to the rest of the store here. They didn't have a great gluten-free selection either in terms of products made gluten-free - it was non-existent. NK Saluhall doesn't compare to the main store sadly, but still, it deserves an extra star as it does offer some unique products in a nice way you can't get anywhere else in Stockholm.
