I called, said who I was, that my daughter was a patient there and I'd like a shot too. The response--"of course we'll schedule you. Would you like to go at her time?" As it was off site. How often do you receive that kind of customer service.? Shortly after, I changed doctors. For a lot of us midtowners it's really convenient. And it's complete. You can have lab work done right there, right now. Under Dr. Steichen, whom I'd never met, I was partnered with Anna (Brie) Trujillo aprn. She has since left; I see her applauded in many reviews. And rightly so. If you care, I found her. She's now with Eastern Oklahoma ENT, Inc. and now strictly goes by "Brie". I have now met Dr. Steichen, he seems nice. In the ongoing Ascension shuffle, other doctors will be moving to this location. That's a positive to me.

My friend's 89 year old father went to St. Johns emergency room due to abdominal pains. After 5…read morehours, they said that he had a kidney stone, and sent him home with pain killers. They told him that he would pass the stone. The next day he was worse than ever. His physician told us to take him back to the emergency room. We called in advance, and the wait was over 6 hours. I called OSU hospital, and they said that the wait was 1-1/2 hours, but if he was really bad, they would put him in the front of the line. So we took him to OSU...after tests, they determined that he had kidney infections! The hospital was full, so they made a very comfortable room in the emergency room. His canal between his kidneys and bladder were narrowed, so they had to perform an emergency surgery to put in a stent. After two days, he's like a new man. OSU saved his life. In Tulsa, the default hospitals are St. Francis (where my mother worked for years) and St. Johns. I'm sold on OSU.

The clinic was not able to keep up with my prescriptions and I ended up spending way too much trying to call them. My Dr. or DO was EEthyl Harmon, who I liked on our first visit- seemed very curious and engaged, but subsequent visits she seemed irritated with me (I had trouble with side effects from one of the drugs she liked) and blamed my health problem on my coffee consumption, pointing to my to go cup (I was drinking tea at the time) instead of hey, maybe genetics and age have a bit to play here? Finally, she prescribed me two meds that were RECALLED and no longer available in the US. That bothered me, They were recalled 4-5 months before she prescribed them to me and contained carcinogens. TWICE. I found a new dock nd a new clinic. This place is always grumpy.

They have been great and make us both feel welcome and my therapist finds ways to get my husband involved in my care on the home side of things. She has taken the time to walk him through the steps, which is great! As a breast cancer survivor, battling lymphedema as well, I can highly recommend them, for their caring demeanor, spousal inclusiveness, and being their to fight and advocate for their patients when needed. One of the biggest blessings is they are also their to listen to you as well, no matter what you are going through.
