During a routine tooth cleaning the doctor found a problem that must have been there for years that no one else had found- making the dog much more comfortable. Not only is the doctor great but the front staff has also been very helpful. Recently my dog was diagnosed with giardia and I've called several times with complex questions. Every time I'm taken seriously and gotten answers that were thorough and helpful. Our son also takes their dog here. They see a different vet and are also really happy. So comforting to know I have great care for my aging dog.

Medications in house are pricey but I have to get more variety of forms which contribute to that. They use wedgewood, an online pharmacy which helps cost so you don't have to directly purchase from tje practice itself. You also have the option to have prescriptions sent over to other facilities if you find a lower cost for the medication you need to order. Im happy I found them.

I took my suffering cat to Village Vets; the staff were very supportive, but I was less than…read moreimpressed by Dr. Ripley. Over the weeks, it became obvious that my cat had bladder stones, but despite that they were never sent out for analysis, she recommended treatment that was taiored for a specific type of stone. Her recommedations were rote and, frankly, a bit condescending. Of course, my cat had the more common stones that were not amenable to a dietary manipulation and he had to undergo emergency surgery to clear the bladder and urethral stones. In short, I am pissed off that my sweet Alex had to suffer; I should have gotten a second opinion sooner. Finally, IMHO Dr. Ripley should have known better and acted on the established facts regarding bladder stones in cats and not recommending extraneous extra tests and medications.
