We'll say 2 stars, as we went there and even thought they are open late the kitchen closes at 9:30pm so never got to eat anything!

After so much traditional food, I was very curious to try sushi in Innsbruck, and wow did this beat…read moremy expectations! We came on the early side and got the best seat in the house- a little nook with a huge window overlooking the main street. The sushi rolls were great, especially the California salmon roll (not actually a California roll as I know it, much better, came with torched salmon on top). The sashimi was very good, expensive but worth it. Note that there is no English menu, but you can figure out what's what. The dessert was really cool, we got the Sensei Art, which is an assortment of fruit, ice cream, and a Nutella sandwich, so good! Service was really attentive and the food was prompt.

Service was horrible. The waiter....made me want to suck start a revolver. Sushi-by all means…read moreEuropean sushi is sub standard, this place takes it to the next level of awful. Something easy like Saki, for Christ's sake should be easy. Tasted like saki vinegar. Aperol spritz were on point, the highlight of our sushi night. On a brighter note, if you're mental enough to come here, there's a pharmacy across the street to get your meds to put you in a better position to find another place to eat next go around. Ambience was ok, but I've had better sushi in their world countries. Too add more, the rice was garbage. I had to pick through it to find the tuna in my roll. Even though I speak pretty good german, I got things I never ordered, although they did correct it in the end. The scallops really opened my eyes to a new texture of seafood jerky. My jaw nearly broke trying to chew through them. I'd give this place negative stars if there were an option, but please save your euro's and stomach from this disaster

We love sushi and I'm particularly into raw fish, such that we usually eat once a week in different fish restaurants. Event thought the environment was fine, the staff was unprepared. We only ordered sushi plates so I can't review the rest of the food but we tasted pretty much each single sushi dish. What we had was just terrible. We started we a tuna tartare, it was heavy seasoned with different sauces and spices, maybe to cover the flavour. In fact the little fish you could taste smelled NASTY and tasted ROTTEN and GONE OFF. We shared this plate and we couldn't finish it. I asked the waiter to take it away and he just didn't mind why we didn't eat it all. We then proceeded with the rolls. Same experience as before, stale smell and terrible taste. The salmon was ok but the tuna was definitely bad. After three plates we just lost appetite and left. I remember we paid 200€ that night (price raised for the event). My girlfriend felt bad immediately after dinner and VOMITED just a couple of hours later and I spent all night with stomach cramps even though we only had a few bites. Ruined my night, If you want sushi just DON'T GO THERE.

The unagi was really small though, cold and not grilled and no teriyaki sauce glazed on top to make it really yummy. It was just a small one inch thin piece of eel that was cold and put on top of the poorly made sushi rice. The sushi rice tasted good but kept breaking so they obviously don't know how to make quality sushi rice. High quality sushi rice doesn't break apart at all especially when you dip it gently in the soy sauce. Then again this is a Viet place in Germany that also makes sushi and none of the 3 Viet restaurants I've eaten at in Germany have been that impressive or exceeded my expectations. I guess I can't fault them for only knowing how to cook for Germans since their taste preference for Asian food is different in Germany than it is in California. I had my food delivered to my uncle's home close by for this order and the delivery time was good. Delivery guy was also friendly and professional.

Definitely a cozy, neighborhood favorite. (Nothing exotic - but very tasty!) You can sit inside (or outside during the warm months, by the water fountain in the Atrium courtyard), or easily take-away, which seems to be a lot of their business. As far as Rosenheim goes, this is probably your best option for sushi. The Vietnamese dishes are tasty but rather typical for "German-style Asian food".. I definitely enjoy a nice bowl of their Pho on a chilly evening. (It's rather uncomplicated and not served with many options, but it's done right: the meat is very tender and the broth is savory and satisfying!) The people there are always quite friendly, patient, and helpful.. and it's very reasonably priced!

My family and I were traveling around Germany and Austria and was eating bratwurst, schnitzel,…read morepretzels and potatoes for many days so we were all craving to something a little more light and healthy. We were a party of 5 and each of us ordered a lunch set which ranged from €13-20. My daughter ordered their salmon bento in which I was told the fish was moist and tender. The bento also came with 3 small pieces of chicken katsu which was also very good and everyone enjoyed the salad which was very much needed and appreciated. My son ordered their sushi lunch which came with 6 pieces of nigiri and 1 small roll. The nigiri had 2 salmon, 2 tuna, 1 shrimp and 1 a type of white fish which I forgot what it was. The fish quality was a little below average. It's not that the fish is not fresh. It's just not of good quality. I'm also a little shocked that they gave him double salmon and tuna which means they have very limited fish variety available. I ordered their chirashi and got an extra piece of octopus and 2 pieces of tamago. Again, the fish quality was subpar. Overall, having Japanese food after many days just meat and potato was a breath of fresh air so we all did enjoy our lunch. But the food quality was very average. The service was also extremely slow. We were also served food without any utensils and we ended up getting them ourselves so not a very good choice if you're in a rush.

Service way ok, although they wouldn't let me sit at the bar even though I went by myself and I wish they would let their guests choose where to sit since the place was nowhere near full. Kai might be good for Innsbruck standards but I wasn't impressed. I'd like to try the tempura udon next time I'm there, though.
