They treat patience with respect and kindness. I arrived early, and the MRI technicians saw me early. They prepped my expectations and answered all my questions very well. My doctor ordered an "US RETROPERITONEAL COMPLETE" (medical speak for an ultrasound of my kidneys…read moreand bladder). Seems my kidney function is in a slight decline. Most likely due to a medication I'm taking - let's hope so anyway. I must have been the last appt of the day as when I got to the hospital the place was absolutely dead. It was quiet like a library. Even got a parking spot on the street right across the street. How does THAT happen in downtown Portland??? But don't fret, they have free valet parking at the front entrance. Just pull up and a nice man comes out, gives you a pickup ticket and parks your car for you. Anyway, I had already checked in online -if you don't do this ahead of time you really need to. It saves so much time and you you don't have to answer all the same questions over and over or pull out your ID and proof of insurance cards. At the door I was COVID-screened and then checked in at the Main Desk. I was directed to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, make a left and go to the door that says "Ultrasound" and wait. Someone would come out for me. The signage is a little confusing and I ended up in the radiology waiting room. No worries. The radiology technician came out and found me and took me into a waiting ultrasound procedure room. I was told to lay down on the table (no need to undress) and she began by putting some warmed gel on the ultrasound probe and placed it on my stomach. First she scanned my VERY FULL bladder. I had to drink and hold 32 oz of water one hour before my appt. This is sometimes difficult for females like me over a certain age, but gosh darn, I did it! Then she moved up to scan both kidneys. It took about 15 minutes total. No pain. No discomfort (except my nerves wondering when I'd get the results). When she said "You are free to go" I thanked her, hurried to the nearest bathroom and then back out to my car. This morning I had the test results in my email "Urinary bladder is of normal configuration" and both kidneys were "Normal size and appearance. No hydronephrosis (swelling), renal stones, or soft tissue masses identified." They even measured them!!! How many people know the actual size of their kidneys??? The whole process was easy, went smoothly, I'm thankful and relieved. and every person I encountered was kind and welcoming. I was glad the hospital was so quiet too. So, the moral of this story is, don't be afraid of getting an ultrasound, it's easy peasy at the Legacy Good Samaritan Imaging & Radiology Dept. And they all lived happily ever after...let's hope anyway.

I have been a patient at Baskin Clinic for 11 years and have always been pleased and impressed with…read morethe high level of personalized care, expertise and professionalism (also kindness and respect) that I have received over the years. (The last time I was at the hospital an ultrasound specialist had to be called in special to use it to find my very tiny veins, and Rebecca can do it on the first try!) I trust Baskin Clinic with my life and look forward to a lifetime of excellent care from a highly qualified clinic. Thank you Dr. Heather and all of Baskin Clinic. I had high hopes for using this practice. I had a very warm and encouraging conversation with…read moresomeone in May who guided me to write an online inquiry describing what I was looking for in a doctor so they could thoughtfully place me with the appropriate professional. The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? Ugh.

About 24 years ago my left hip was replaced with an artificial joint. My Orthopedic physician was…read morea wonderful, caring man who did an excellent job of getting me back to walking. Several years prior to his January 2018 retirement, my hip joint began to feel like it was moving. Over the last few months I could feel my hip slipping in and out more often. Unfortunately, my hip dislocated three times, in a week, sending me by ambulance to emergency each time. These were very painful incidents requiring x-rays, anesthesia and medication in the ER. I was referred to Dr. Andrew Bryan by Dr. Pettit at OSM Center. He stayed after office hours on a Friday afternoon to see me. What a blessing! After consultation, Dr. Bryan assured me the type of joint repair required was one of his specialties. He explained the need to reline the cup and insert a ball stem with newer much stronger material. What I appreciated most about Dr. Bryan was his knowledge, directness, calmness, and control of the situation. My surgery was very successful and soon after I was up and able to walk with only slight pain. Gone are the strong pain medications. Dr. Bryan gave me confidence and helped me through a pretty scary situation. He was always available to answer questions and followed up on my every concern getting back to me immediately. Since my right hip will also eventually need surgery, I'm sure I'll be seeing him often in the next several years. Thank you, Dr. Bryan for giving my mobility back. Dr. Bryan relocated to join the OSM Center practice and it has been to my benefit that he did.

I booked an appointment online for the same day, only a few hours in advance on a Friday, which was very convenient. When I arrived, there was essentially no wait, they verified my information and took me straight back. Tiffany, the nurse practitioner, was wonderful. She was attentive, caring, and actually took the time to listen. I never felt rushed, even though this was urgent care. She ordered the necessary tests right away, came back to discuss the results, answered my questions, and made sure I felt heard throughout the visit. I was feeling pretty horrible that day, so having someone who was both medically thorough and genuinely compassionate made a huge difference. It was simply nice to feel taken care of rather than processed through as quickly as possible. 5/5 experience for me. I would absolutely come back here if I ever need urgent care again.

When I get there the staff informs me that they are an OUT OF NETWORK center. WHAT?? But that is why I went to an IN-NETWORK provider. Dr. Yoon could have seen me in another surgery center that was covered, but NOOOO, maximizing his profits was more important that making sure that patients are not stuck with the bills. Nine months later I am stuck with the anesthesia bill because of Doctor Yoon's unscrupulous practices that set up surgeries at his center regardless of the patients health plan.
