I switched to Bristol disposal today after OVW didn't take some of my trash and I was told they are becoming more strict on limits due to a recent audit. Bristol is $84 every 3 months for 200 gal. / week Or $67 for 100 gal. / week. OVW is charging $87 for 90 gal./ week every 3 months. 90 gallons is one of their brown trash containers. Service wasn't bad to be fair but you can get more than double the trash limit for a few dollars less. Use to be a great company until they changed hands.If youre a day late 10.00.But the reason I canceled was we had put some other trash cans out with our cart and 2 empty cardboard boxes and they emptied the cart and one other can.But the remaining cans were kicked over with the trash spilling out and the cardboard boxes werent even touched.When I called they said I was a cart and 2 trash bag service.News to me,been with them for 5 years and we were always able to put out some extra garbage.Corporate greed in the trash business uuugghh read more

I had my waste service from Ohio Valley on vacation hold because I no longer occupied the dwelling, but was not sure I wanted to disconnect service. I called in Nov. when I was supposed to end my vacation hold to completely stop service. They charged me for service despite the fact that the can was empty other than a newsprint flyer in the bottom of the can that had been there for 6 months and was still in the bottom of the can when they removed it. Totally unethical of them to charge me for service that was not rendered. They are a company I will not do business with again! read more

Had 4 contractor bags left out due to storm with sticks. Refused to take our bags but took everyone else on street who has same service as us. Wanted to charge $5 extra a bag. Smh Cancelled service. Then they had someone go in my back yard to remove the cans when I was told to have out next day. Person just waking around my back yard. What if my service animal was out an attacked him... Hands down the worse trash company in Youngstown. I was originally a Waste Tech customer until these people bought them out. They defiantly did not hold the same high standards. Two weeks ago I placed 4 trash totes at the curb. They emptied 3 of them and knocked over the 4th and left it on the ground for me to pick up the debris. I called and they stated they only will pick up 3 totes. Last week they totally skipped me and I had to call them. They stated a new guy ran the route and they will come back tomorrow. This week I had 3 totes at the curb. 2 of the totes had some wooden posts sticking out of the top so they only emptied the 3rd one. I called and the very rude lady stated that nothing can be sticking out of the top of the tote so this is why they did not empty these totes. Luckily I am only paid through the end of the month because I am cancelling them. I just ordered service from Allison Brothers after several neighbors and a couple co-workers they have exceptional service. read more

Ohio Valley took over for Waste Tech and they are absolutely terrible. They dump trash all over the ground and don't pick it up the driver is ignorant. Myself and 8 neighbors all switched service in one day if that doesn't say enough nothing will. read more
