This place is awesome. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Trent is probably the coolest guy in eyewear, and has great recommendations. He also knows a lot about the history of classic eyewear and manufacturing processes, which I found pretty interesting, and he can fix just about anything. Jane is also very cool, very friendly, and will go out of her way to help you get what you need. Glasses are so expensive these days it's nice to know that there are people you can trust not to try to persuade you to pay more than you really need and who aren't going to try to sell you the latest thing just to rake in the cash. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Receptionist was unbelievably rude when I called to schedule an appointment to be fitted for my glasses. She asks me what insurance I have, so I answered BCBS, and she replies with "that doesn't help me"....you asked what insurance and I answered. If you want a specific answer, ask a specific question. I was just there two months ago, so how about you check in the scanned files in my chart and answer your own question. She then tells me what day she can get me in, so I asked if somewhere between 12-1 is available. The receptionist replies "yeah I guess. I'll just be sure to let her know that she won't get a lunch that day" girl, fuck you and your lunch. A simple no would've been fine and I hope she keeps that same energy in person. I'm a receptionist at a doctor's office and would never, ever speak to a patient the way she spoke to me. If you want to go somewhere that is ACTUALLY PROFESSIONAL, go to Athens Eye Professionals.
