For two consecutive years, we've received superb services from OMG for our community back to school event. Holden arrived early to set-up and promptly start at 3 pm. He also went above and beyond because there were challenges keeping on the power for the popcorn machine, but he patiently problem solved to ensure it properly worked. Ohio mobile gaming systems are outdated. As this is a gaming business and the amount of money I paid we expected them to have the newer gaming system. A lot of the kids complained about the systems especially the Xbox 360. They have only one ps4 which was not brought out until the very end of the party and I was told it is only for vr games. This was very disappointing, when I booked the party I asked about the ps4 as my son is a ps player. When I complained about the Xbox I was told basically "oh well" and that they will get one next year.I felt that was a horrible response. I have a Xbox5 and most of the kids at the party have a newer gaming systems. For the amount of money we paid they could afford at least one xbox5. You are better off borrowing your friends gaming systems and using them for your party. Luckily, my son enjoyed the other activities at the party. However the gaming truck was a waste of money and the party was full of "little gamers". I do not recommend this gaming truck. read more

I've rented from OMG Akron/Cleveland for 8+ years. I average $400-$900 a year in rentals. Not a lot for some people, but a lot for me. Part of the fee is cleaning & disinfecting the units, however that is done (hand wash, pressure wash? I don't know). Even if you have bad weather or your event is cancelled, there is a non-refundable cost because once the item is at your event it is "dirty" and needs to be cleaned for the next event. It stormed on the 4th of July and the kids had to come off the obstacle course. After the storm, the kids went back on it and I put a tarp at the end of the slide part because the ground was so saturated they were getting muddy. OMG came to pick up the unit, didn't say anything to me directly, but a manager called my cell phone and was really aggressive saying there are muddy hand prints on the unit. I acknowledged there probably was due to the rain and them climbing the obstacle course. He said "I'm charging you $100-$150 to clean it". ? I said isn't cleaning part of my fee, whether it's mud, grass, germs etc. He charged my card before the workers even left. They actually changed my signed contract that night online, charged my card $159 (tried to but only $100 went through). So it now shows on the contract I owe $59 still. The contract must be paid in full before delivery. It was paid in full. They added a random $159.00 I called the owner and left a message with his mom. No one called me back. Called the next day and got his cell phone number from the Cleveland location. I said after all these years, this was not "destruction" or "malicious" in any way and I think $500+ covers the rental and cleaning costs per the contract. I also told him the kids were all scratched up from velcro that wasn't sealed all the way. I asked him to stop trying to charge my card and we can continue doing business. He refused. I guess his one time made up fee of $159 is more important than $500-$900 I've spent annually for almost 10 years. Will never use them again. These guys have the *ultimate* solution to throwing a Birthday Party for any kid who is into view games! After having a great experience with OMG's Video Game Truck for my son's 13th birthday party, we decided to hire them again this year for his 14th birthday as well. Just like last year the kids has a great time playing the games and thoroughly enjoyed their time. The gentleman who brought the truck was very friendly and obviously experienced with handling a crowd of adolescent boys. We had another great experience with the OMG Video Game Party Truck and would certainly consider hiring them again in the future! What totally amazed me was that after the party was over I learned that some scum bags had recently broken in to OMGs truck and gutted the entire thing of all of their equipment, consoles, TV's, wiring, etc. I've come to expect prompt, reliable and courteous service from OMG and have not once been disappointed. The fact that they were able to replace all of their equipment *and* live up to my expectations on such short notice is nothing short of amazing! Well done OMG! I've already recommended OMG to many of my friends that have upcoming events. The next time I have occasion to throw a party for my son & his friends, OMG is the only call I need to make! read more

Rented the Giant XXL Backyard games for a birthday party. Wish we would have received the games that we saw on the website. Jenga was child sized plastic version, not the large wooden set in the pictures. The checkers were plastic and on a cloth like a tablecloth - not wooden, we had to actually anchor it to a tent ourselves. The operation game was missing a piece and no red skirting and we had to use our own table. The other games were flimsy and in my opinion not what was shown. Very disappointed, not at all with what is being charged. When I called to complain the customer service was subpar - he did give $100 back - but I still feel the cost was too high. read more

If you are looking for a blowup house for kids, a 8 second ride or a gaming truck this is the place to go! I was running late to pick up my blow up house for my daughter and they got me in and out so fast. I choose to come pick it up and they loaded it as soon as I pulled in. They explained everything i needed to do in a simple manner. They made this experience so easy to top off my party. All i had to do was unroll it and plug it in. It took only 30 minutes to roll it out and set up. When i returned it they unloaded it and were very helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere, they are awesome. The workers were very polite and helpful. Made me feel like an old friend helping me out. It was a very nice experience and i recommend it to everyone! Nice job guys :) read more

Rented the giant backyard games for 13 year old birthday party . Unimpressed. The giant checkers in picture are on a board and we got a plastic table cloth checker board. The giant jenga in picture are wood and look to be adult size. We got small plastic ones for maybe a 4 year old. Kerplunk was about as tall as a 7 year old and the plastic sticks were hard to put in Operation was kinda cool although a piece was missing. For $500 absolutely not worth it. we have used OMG for several years now, we rent the slip n slide, it is always a great experience, very personal, i have never felt like just another random costumer. the staff is great, the product is great. everyone we know looks forward to our summer party with the slip n slide! i havent bothered to look anywhere else for a rental, i like OMG so much, i dont care if there is somplace cheaper. the experience cant be beat! read more
