They explained everything clearly and took great care of him before and after the procedure. The follow-up doctor who checked on him later didn't have the greatest bedside manner at first, but it did improve the next day, which we appreciated. There was a little confusion about the flower policy. I was told we couldn't give him flowers for a couple of days, but it turned out the restriction only applied to the surgical floor. I'm glad I didn't take them home before we could give them to him. Most of the nurses on his shift were wonderful. They were attentive, patient, and very supportive during his recovery. He was also happy with the kitchen overall, although they did forget his tater tots three times. Overall, TMC provided good care, and aside from a few small hiccups, we are grateful for the staff who helped him through his surgery and recovery.

Immediately sent by ambulance to the Northwest Medical Center on Houghton with one artery 100% blocked and the other at 80%. By the time the ambulance got me to their Houghton Center they prepped and ready to wheel me straight into surgery. They put the first stent in and sent me to ICU. absolutely, FANTASTIC staff, beautiful room, very comfortable bed and environment. They saved my life with speed and top notch care. I can't give them enough stars! A big shout out to the AMR ambulance service, so professional, and handled everything with great care. 5 stars for them too!

She basically told me (paraphrasing) ''Pick a place now or we'll remove her by Monday.''. We picked hospice on Saturday. My sister died the next day. Of course this review is somewhat tainted, due to my ongoing grief. However, facts are facts. Another patient fell out of his bed, they left an extremely bright light shine on my sister as she was dying ( I had to request they turn it off) They woke her up 3 a.m. to draw blood. The PA came in, we talked some more, she looked at my ears, throat and listened intently at my lungs. They have even taught me new ways to better care for her and made suggested that will go miles in improving her level of care. The respiratory therapists have been amazing; the doctors have been responsive respectful and brilliant; the culinary team has been so kind and helpful; phlebotomy came in like magicians who seemed to use magic to draw her blood because nearly each time was painless; and the nurses..... let me TELL you about these nurses! Wow! I mean they were beyond attentive to my mom's medical and psychological needs. They went out of their way to help her maintain her dignity, and never once dismissed what she had to say, even when she was a little whack-a-doodle. They adjusted to whatever was best for her! I'm talking to you, Christine, Corrine and Aiden! You and your crew made my mama smile and laugh through the terribles and for that I am forever a fan. The team at TMC Rincon are to be commended for doing their jobs with heart! Oh and this is a brand new facility. The ER was timely and thorough; the place is beautiful; and the room had a couch that converts into an actual BED for me to stay with her! And they have done away with the big beeping monitor system that always drives both patients and families crazy. She had a mini monitor "pack" that sends the feed to a central monitoring location which alerts the staff in the actual hospital if there an issue. This frees the nurses to do real patient care, instead of constantly responding to unimportant beeps and buzzes. I think they have really managed to create a different hospital experience for patients and families alike. I am very pleased, impressed and grateful.
